It was very comfortable, clean and had everything you would need (except an electric shaver point, but that's just me!!). When we holiday on Anglesey again, this will be our base, many thanks.

Thank you for your lovely feedback. So glad you had an enjoyable stay and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Property Owner

  • "Excellent well appointed bungalow with many kitchen and room accessories of good quality."

Very good internet. It is a shame there is no washing machine as there is a space in the units where there is a smaller unused fridge A large fridge freezer is provided. There is one or two spots of loose plaster around the fireplace which need attention. The exterior door locks are tricky but once you get to know the technique it is easy. Good situation with easy walking distance to eating places and well stocked local shop. Would not recommend the Sandy Mount House as the food quality was poor and service was so slow taking 3 hours for two.courses. Would thoroughly recommend the bungalow and hope to return in the future.

Good powerful shower and spacious cubicle. The property is in a great location, about 5 minutes walk to the town and beach. We had great weather and really enjoyed our stay.

Kitchen was very well equipped. Open plan layout facilitated a lovely family holiday. We missed a wall mirror and door lock in the bathroom, but otherwise the bathroom was clean and well appointed. Bedrooms comfortable and well equipped. The second bedroom was great for our teenager: she enjoyed the double bunk and being a bit away from the master bedroom.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Sisial-Y-Mor."

The location was perfect and the bungalow easily became a home-from-home. It was very clean and well-maintained and the layout of the living area was ideal for a family holiday. The only thing the property lacked was access to a washing machine, which for a two week stay with a young child, was definitely something we'd look for in the future.

Accommodation very clean and comfortable. Really would recommend access to washing machine especially for those guests staying longer than a week or have children. We have stayed in all types of holiday accommodation and this is the only one that has a washing machine that guests can’t access.

  • "We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house."

It had everything that we needed for our weeks stay. The location is amazing and a few minutes walk to the beaches. We chose not to leave Rhosneigr and made the most of the stay here with our family. This is the best place we have stayed in for the price ever for the accommodation and location. It’s wonderful! We would love to come back thank you for letting us stay.

  • "Spotlessly clean and very comfortable."

Thank you for the lovely wine, biscuits and milk - very thoughtful. The road was very quiet, which was good. The use of the washing machine would have been handy, but for 1 weeks stay was no problem and we appreciated all the facilities and utensils/salt& vinegar and thoughtful touches etc. We did find that the double bed was too firm though, so not quite comfortable for us. All in all, it was a lovely property and stay and in a beautiful area

  • "A lovely, clean and cosy house with excellent location a short walk from the sea and near to the lake."

We were welcomed with thoughtful touches - milk, wine and biscuits which were much appreciated. The cottage had a well equipped kitchen, barbecue and outside seating area. We enjoyed a game or two of croquet on the lawn as there was a set provided. We felt very at home with great WiFi and Netflix etc. We would be more than happy to stay again. Slight negatives - A 9am checkout with teenagers made for a stressful end to the holiday. This seems unreasonably early when check in is 6pm. Lots of building work on the road - next door and directly across the road which made getting in and out of the drive tricky at times. No hanging space in main bedroom for clothes.

  • "Sisial-Y-Mor is just the perfect place to stay."

The bungalow is modern, clean and comfortable and is perfectly positioned. It is on a nice quiet road and has sufficient parking. The garden to the back is private and enclosed and quite a little suntrap. The seating was well used by us in the garden as the weather was very kind to us on our visit . We had great communication with the owners prior to us arriving and the cookies, wine and milk were a lovely treat on arrival. It was definitely like a home from home. It is only a 3-5 minute walk from the centre of Rhosneigr where there are a few places to eat and drink, two local shops and of course the lovely beach. The beach itself is just the most beautiful expanse of sand and the water is clear and warmish. If you are into watersports it appears to be the perfect place looking at the amount of people in the water. There were dog walkers on the beach and a few horses meandering along the sand, such a relaxing place. If you visit you must catch the sunset. Settle in on a blanket on the beach and watch as it slowly disappears into the sea on the horizon. Just beautiful! From this lovely cottage we visited a number of places both on Anglesey and on the mainland. The roads around Wales are delightful and despite a travelling time of just about an hour to some places that we wanted to go, the views were beautiful and the roads clear, so the journeys were always very pleasant. The RAF base nearby gave us hours if entertainment throughout the week. They do not fly on weekends but from about 8.30-10.30 weekdays you can see fabulous displays of flying from their jets. Of course this is quite noisy but worth it to see them fly. The best view of this is from the beach or the grasslands as you come in to Rhosneigr. I think you may have gathered that we would return in a heartbeat to this cottage and Rhosneigr itself. The only downside being that we could not bring our little dog with us and I know he would have loved that beach!

  • "Sisial-Y-Mor was a perfect base in Rhosneigr."

Just a short walk to the beautiful beaches, bars and shops. If you're a birder the little lake, just down the road from the house, is amazing. I spent lots of time walking around it, or just sitting listening to and watching the birds. We had a lovely holiday and loved our little home from home. Thank you.

  • "First impressions of this bungalow were disappointing ie there was little "curb appeal" and on entry the porch was poorly furbished but our disappointment faded as we entered the main building and were greeted by a lovely, homely property."

The wine and biscuits were a great welcome but the milk was missing as were the sticks and firelighters. A brisk walk to the store rectified this and we soon began to relax into holiday mode. We were disappointed to find that both neighbouring properties were building sites and annoyed when, part way through our stay, noisy work began during the day and continued into early evening. Late arrival and early departure times were understandable due to covid but impacted on our enjoyment of the first evening and particularly of our final morning. However as the weather was reasonable we took the opportunity for one last walk along the beach before heading home. We would recommend this property (though maybe not until the building work is complete) as it is ideally situated and our stay was, over all, enjoyable .

  • "A lovely holiday cottage in a lovely village."

We were on holiday with our three children (12,9 and 4) during Storm Dennis but had a really fun, cosy week. The cottage is perfect for cosying up, it's newly done up, nicely laid out and really warm. All the TV and entertainment options help in bad weather and the fire (though we never really mastered the knack of getting it going well) was fun to light and sit around. The cottage really is a very short stroll into the village where there are a couple of shops for essentials, some nice shops to mooch around, a few cafe/restaurants and a very posh but kid/dog friendly pub. A perfectly easy walk in the other direction brings you to another bar/restaurant surrounded by the sand dunes. Our kids loved playing in the dunes and then heading into the pub for hot chocolate. The beaches all around the village are spectacular and a very easy walk from the cottage. Being able to fit three kids into one bedroom was ideal for a family of five, the only thing I'd mention for other parents is that the bunk bedroom is off the entrance hall and the main bedroom is at the other end of the sitting room. If you have very young children and want to be sure you can hear them easily then maybe this isn't ideal for you. We thought we'd spend the week going off all around the island and onto the mainland but actually everyone was very happy relaxing in the cottage, playing in the dunes and on the beach, wandering around the village and watching the planes practice at RAF Valley. Highly recommend!
