  • "We loved this property and the location and we have had a wonderful break in Rosneigr."

There are only two things I would draw the attention of the owners to. Firstly the instructions regarding the heating system are too brief and we never managed to turn the hot water on without the central heating. Secondly we struggled with the single bed quilt cover which kept sliding off the protector which was very slippy. One that closes at the end (buttons or zip) would help. Overall we loved the property and the area and were sorry to leave.

Thank you Jackie for your info, we have ordered covers with zips . Also the hot water always comes on when you turn on the tap , you didn't need the heating on , i shall correct that in the information booklet. Best Regards Charles and Gwen Property Owner

  • "My husband and I stayed for a week at Station House and had a wonderful time."

The house has been beautifully furnished and the facilities are excellent. The kitchen has everything you need, the views from the large windows are lovely. The large bathroom is a great room for a relaxing bath. There are plenty of walks to do and the village is within walking distance. My favourite room was the sitting room with a wonderful bureau. We were lucky to hear and see 2 F35 aircraft which made our day. We will certainly book to stay again. Thank you very much for a wonderful and relaxing holiday.

  • "This is the best property we have stayed at everything perfect, could do with some instruction on the recycling and rubbish, and when to leave out,it must be made aware to renters that no smoking means just that, as we were shocked to smell cigarette smoke in boiler room, and ended up cleaning appliances, with white vinegar and putting trays of bicarbonate of soda to adsorbed the smell, some people have no concideration."

  • "No problems of any real significance for me, just a couple of suggestions and comments."

Perhaps a better information package, giving instructions on recycling and what to do with the bedding. A 4 slice toaster and possibly a mat by the patio doors. There were also quite a few dead flies on the landing and in the back bedroom that I cleaned up. But these are only minor things and overall I had a great break. Thanks

  • "The cottage was excellent."

The only very minor problems were that we could not lock the utility room extension and remove the key from the outside, so we locked it from the inside and exited from the other door. The bathroom brass knob fell off. We could not find the screw or I would have fixed it as I had my tool kit with me. We were soon used to being careful to turn it carefully so that it stayed on. Our friends were at the last minute, unable to come so we only used one double bedroom and left the other two undisturbed. Otherwise the accommodation was excellent, comfortable, very clean with adequate cooking facilties, crockery, cutlery electric kettle, toaster and hot water. The password for Wyfi is on the back of the router near the front door.

We loved watching the trains go by and the Aeroplanes landing at Anglesey Airport. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you

  • "This is a lovely cottage situated on the outskirts of Rhosneigr overlooking farmlands and RAF Valley."

A wonderful location for watching the RAF Trainer jets and the occasional touch and go by Typhoons. Good beaches are nearby. Will definitely look to come again next year.

  • "The property itself was well maintained and had good facilities, 2 double rooms and a good sized single."

Good off road parking for 3 cars, great WiFi and 2 tvs downstairs. Garden not fully enclosed but we used the plastic fencing in the shed to help prevent our dog from wandering off. The immediate area was very nice, town within walking distance and also a good walks to the beach in-between the caravan park and golf course, good local restaurants and takeaways near by and 2 local shops. Further afield some amazing places to visit, mostly coastal walks and bays but also old copper mines and national trust houses and gardens and beautiful scenery throughout the Island. A great location to explore Anglesey from.

  • "Lovely property in beautiful surroundings."

Well equipped kitchen and bedrooms. Would benefit from an extra 2 seater sofa in the lounge but other than that we all loved it and would recommend to friends. Almost forgot, the garden was superb on a sunny evening and we were blessed with 2 beautiful sunsets too! Thank you

  • "House was clean and tidy."

It's in a convenient location to village and train. Great views. The house allows dogs but the garden isn't enclosed. Luckily we could create a makeshift fence with some fencing left by a previous guest. It meant we could relax a bit while our dog was in the garden.

  • "The cottage was fabulous!"

Location to the town, the beach, and to the runway for my airplane-mad 14 year old was just spot on! We loved it and will be back next year!

  • "Absolutely fantastic place to stay."

Brilliantly fitted and equipped. The only thing I would improve is to fully enclosure the garden so dogs can go out for a wee first and last thing and an extra arm chair in the living room. It is one of the best places we have ever stayed and we look forward to returning.

  • "Absolutely lovely property."

Was a little dubious about the train station outside the front of property, but wasn't a problem. Met with the owner who was very freindly. The garden isn't a secure garden for dogs but he said that it needs changing on the advert for the property. If you like watching planes then it's ideal as raf valley is visible fom the well presented kitchen. A gem of a property. Very spacious and comfortable. Will be back.

  • "Property in great position for beach and train and plane viewing."

Clean, refurbished house. Several basic issues were quickly rectified by pleasant owners. However, although dogs are welcome the garden is not secure or completely enclosed meaning you need to watch pets continually or keep on lead, not conjusive to a carefree stay.

  • "Although it states it has a secure garden and is suitable for dogs, unfortunately it isn’t."

The garden isn’t secure and our dog immediately ran into the train tracks which is directly located on the driveway of the property. There is also an electric fence behind the property which is easily accessible to the dog. We required a secure area in which to let our dog relax and so we could relax. Unfortunately we couldn’t do that. The property itself is very clean and has plenty of amenities. Bring your own salt, pepper, oil, sugar etc. washing products are provided.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you were found the property clean and amenities plentiful, however as a self-catering property perishable cooking items are not provided for hygiene reasons. We are sorry to disappoint you with this, also with the description of the garden. Although the property has an enclosed garden to the rear, we can never guarantee a secure area for dogs. We are sorry to hear that your dog escaped, the train station is opposite the property and is fenced off from the road. The electric fence is not part of this property and keeps a neighbouring pony in his field, usually switched off. Thank you for bringing these aspects to our attention, we are constantly monitoring ways which we can improve guest experience and will take your feedback on board. We hope that you enjoyed the area and all it has to offer along with the other aspects property. Thank you, The Menai Team Property Owner
