The property

Annedd Wen is a wonderful family holiday home, overlooking the sea in Rhosneigr on the Isle of Anglesey, just a short stroll from the sandy beach.

Find ample off-road parking and make your way past the pretty front lawn, where you can perch on the picnic bench for an alfresco lunch in the sunshine.

Enter Annedd Wen to be greeted with a bright entrance hall which has space to kick off your sandy flip flops, before making your way into the sitting room, which boasts a traditional bay window that highlights the idyllic beach views, as well as a choice of two sofas to relax onto, beside the woodburning stove, perfect for adding a cosy feel to your evening during the colder months as you watch your favourite show on SKY.

The inviting farmhouse-style kitchen has everything you need for a self-catering break, including a dishwasher to take care of the washing up.

Take a step down from the kitchen and you’re in the dining room, with a table big enough for the whole family to gather around for a home-cooked meal together, admiring the garden views on offer.

A ground-floor double bedroom is ideal for anyone who prefers not to scale any stairs, and is served by a shower room, where you can begin each day with a refreshing rinse in the extra large shower cubicle.

Head upstairs to discover the remaining three bedrooms, comprising a super-king-size double with zip/link feature providing a flexible sleeping arrangement, as well as a double and bunk room, which would be ideal for children, all of which are served by a family bathroom with shower over bath, offering you the choice of a relaxing soak or a quick shower to start your day.

Spend time in the enclosed back garden with patio, where you can light up the barbecue and enjoy a glass of wine in the fresh sea air.

Rhosneigr itself is a popular seaside resort, which offers a host of shops for picking up essential amenities, as well as cafés, restaurants and takeaways for when you want to take an evening off from cooking duties, all a stone's throw from the property.

Head to the nearby sandy beach of Traeth Crigyll, popular for watersports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing, and ideal for sandcastle building and paddling with little ones.

Stroll around Llyn Maelog, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, abundant with flora and fauna, before joining the The Anglesey Coastal Path at the south end of the lake, towards the impressive sand dunes of Tywyn y Llyn.

Keen golfers can choose from several picturesque golf courses, while fishing and sailing are also popular activities to partake in.

Pay a visit to RAF Valley, known for being the training base for Prince William's Air Sea Rescue, while children will enjoy a visit to Pili Palas butterfly farm and Anglesey Sea Zoo.

The seaside resort of Trearddur Bay offers a selection of picturesque sandy beaches, while the market town of Holyhead boasts breath-taking coastal walks, fascinating Roman remains and Breakwater Country Park, filled with wonderful walks and wildlife.

Choose Annedd Wen for your next family holiday on the Isle of Anglesey.
