  • “Stunning family accommodation which exceeded our expectations.”

Plenty of space for our multi-generational family members to hang out together. Fortunately we had beautiful weather so didn’t need to use all the wonderful shared space.

Plenty of space for our multi-generational family members to hang out together. Fortunately we had beautiful weather so didn’t need to use all the wonderful shared space. Just one irritation. Big house that accommodates large family eating experiences but sadly only two hobs which made cooking a little challenging. However, would recommend this wonderful house and hoping to go again very soon.

The property

This beautiful family home enjoys a lovely position in the seaside town of Rhosneigr on the Isle of Anglesey off the mainland of North Wales.

Offering spacious and elegant accommodation for a large family or two families holidaying together, Belan Fawr is the perfect destination for a coastal break, being near two gorgeous beaches.

Once you've arrived and unpacked your food shop into the large American fridge/freezer in the handy utility room, make your way into the hub of the home, the large open-plan living space decorated with soft whites, cream, and natural wood, it has been designed to create several areas for all to enjoy.

Within the roomy kitchen space, you can cook the whole party a delicious dish using the two electric ovens, and once all is baked to perfection serve up at the dining table with lovely wicker seating.

Retire with a glass of wine to one of the snug armchairs placed before the windows so you can admire the views out towards the sea, or head into the sitting area with the rest of the party to lounge on the sumptuous sofas and watch a film on the Smart TV.

Enjoy quality time with your little ones in the playroom/snug with a selection of games and DVDs for a rainy day, catch up on some work if you have to in the elegant study room, or browse the wonderful collection of books in the library which even features its own ladder to reach the top shelf!

On the ground floor is a convenient shower room, perfect when you're coming in from a sandy day on the beach, with a further bathroom up on the first floor too, with a bath and shower over.

Belan Fawr has two sets of stairs each leading to a separate area of the first floor; travel up the first set to reach the lovely super king-size master bedroom which enjoys an en-suite shower room, finding a single bedroom on this side as well.

Either go through the connecting door from the single bedroom to the other half of the first floor, or access it via the other staircase depending on what your party prefer, to discover the other three bedrooms, including a triple room with three singles, a single room with a wonderful balcony, and a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a dressing room, with all of the décor throughout being bright and light and with quality furnishings for all of your storage needs.

When you're not enjoying the lovely garden space in the summer months, visit either one of Rhosneigr's beautiful beaches, Traeth Crigyll and Traeth Llydan, both sandy stretches offering a perfect way to while away an afternoon, afterwards heading to one of Rhosneigr's delightful cafés or restaurants for a bite to eat and a refreshing drink.

Visit the idyllic setting of Trearddur Bay, take walks along the Anglesey Coastal Path and take in the stunning scenery of this special area.
