  • "We were disappointed for three reasons."

    1. The photos of the property did not convey just how small the kitchen was - how on earth seven people coped we do not know. Some rivals publish the property plans which would have been useful. 2. The house next door was under-going a complete re-build and had been for some time - we should have been notified. 3. Apparently this property is to undergo a similar re-fit and clearly the owners were not keen to spend much money on the property up-keep, It was starting to look a bit tatty and we were very disappointed it was not of the very high quality we were expecting after having looked at the property photos before booking

  • "The house was as expected and there were some nice extra touches not always provided ie radio/alarm clocks, flowers and prosecco in the welcome pack."

We took bikes and one of the reasons we chose this rental was the garage. It did not open from the front of the house = no key. The two patio doors only opened on one side each ie second door wouldn't open. This made manoeuvring the bikes through awkward gaps which was disappointing. We found the shower room very cold, although the rest of the house was lovely and warm. A general comment not related to this property:- As a couple regularly booking houses with 2/3 bedrooms we are finding that, increasingly, only towels for 2 people are being left. Just because there are fewer than expected people staying ALL amenities should be as if the full number were going. WE PAY THE SAME!!!!!

  • "Carreg Ddewin is a wonderfully well equipped house, warm comfortable and in the most amazing location."

We were a party of 8, 6 adults and two children and we all loved it. Lots of space to spread out and a cosy room to seat us all in the evenings. Mrs Owen was so friendly and helpful, we can't thank her enough. The sunny enclosed garden was perfect too. Rhosneigr is a lovely village with just enough facilities and a beautiful beach. We look forward to visiting again next year and have fingers crossed Carreg Ddewin will be available. Many thanks from us all.
