Also states near to coast path, it is a drive away, there are no walking paths next to the property that we could find. The kitchen was well stocked, could do with some egg cups but that could be us! The Lodge was warm and Louise the host popped in to check all OK, she'd left us some cake which was kind, Welsh cakes and Bara Brith obviously very welcome after a long journey. The Lodge was warm and although a problem with the door lock, Louise was very responsive and immediately sorted the situation for us. We struggled to find some subtle lighting and had to keep a main light on in the main room and bedroom, a little bright at times. Peace and tranquility was definitely provided, such privacy was welcome. The cows were our neighbours !!, scenic views and the planes an interesting addition each late afternoon when we returned to the Lodge from a days walking. We would book again,

We are always looking how to improve our facilities and try very hard to meet or exceed our customers expectations. Egg cups and lamps have been supplied. We do not say that the garden is totally enclosed as the stream allows access under the bridge and by the side of the bridge. However the decking is gated providing a secure area for pets or small children. We wish to ensure that customers do not expect the Lodge to be on a coastal path or foot path and have checked that the description is correct. Thank you for your comments. - Sykes owner relations
