• "Just about everything you could possible need, in an immaculate apartment."

  The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk to the beach, less to pubs and restaurants. Because of the time of year not all these were fully open, but as expected. The Oyster Catcher is open all year, though, about 10 minutes walk.

• "What a fabulous apartment,the owners Simon &Rosie have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible !"

  Best equipped kitchen we have had in a rental, a lovely welcome pack all local produce.Bedding,towels all great quality.The apartment was spotless and right in the centre of the village with a great parking space. We can’t fault anything about this apartment and look forward to staying again. A short walk down to the beautiful beach, and lots of coastal walks close by or short drive way. The convenience store across the road was very handy and did delicious local eggs,meat and cheeses. We had dinner at the Oystercatcher and Sandy Mount hotel both were fabulous. We have stayed in Rhosneiger many times and we just love it here.

  Central location. Great parking. Lovely bedding and towels. Fabulous furniture and electrical equipment all high quality. Great communication from the owner. Will definitely be staying here again. Two flights of stairs is a killer but worth it as you get a sea view from the lounge

Unfortunately Maelog is one of 17 apartments and we have no control over the grounds and due to location we cannot visit often enough to tidy up You mentioned the door was difficult to open and close , I assume you are referring to the front door, we will arrange for this to be looked at Please do stay at Maelog again in the future Rosie Property Owner

  The owner has thought of everything. There’s a fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are a great size and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The living room is such a great space to relax in the evening. The balconet makes a superb spot to watch the sun go down over the sea in the evening. The furnishings and kitchen equipment are all of top quality. Can’t wait to return.

• "We enjoyed our stay at Tides Reach immensely."

  We thought it was well kitted out and you wanted for nothing. Everything was good quality even down to the pictures on the walls and I loved the Anvil pottery may have to visit there at some point in the future. The beach was not far our dog loved it. We would certainly recommend a Sykes holiday let to anyone aspecially if they are of the same standard.

• "14 Tides Reach is honestly the best apartment we have ever stayed in ."

  Everything, including towels, bedding and kitchen equipment is of the highest quality . The whole place is immaculate , comfortable and beautifully furnished . The beach is less than a five minute walk away and it’s a short car journey to both Llandudno and Caernarfon. Our dogs were made welcome with bowls , toys and treats ( as were we with a great welcome pack ) . Dog friendly places everywhere and a local shop and fish and chips just across the road . This was our second visit and certainly won’t be our last …… highly recommended. Thank you Rosie and Simon for sharing your gorgeous home .

  The apartment was lovely and spacious , with everything we needed , very well equipped. With beautiful views and some ‘ Top Gun ‘ entertainment from RAF Valley . The beach is just down the road and in easy access. The fish and chips were the best we have ever tasted . Would highly recommend this property and we hope to visit again . Pet friendly

  Clean, spacious and superbly equipped with an upgraded shower room and kitchen this time which are really nicely done. The owners have literally thought of everything to make your stay extremely comfortable and relaxing. We can't recommend this lovely holiday accommodation highly enough, it is perfect being only a few steps away from the beaches, coffee shops and restaurants in the village. • "What a gem!"

  Perfectly placed for a well stocked convenience store (1-min walk for emergency wine!) and an incredible beach! The owner has thought of everything. Just arrive with your clothes and you'll unwind from the first second. Beds are first rate comfort, a glorious shower room and top-notch kitchen. Lovely big lounge with sea views (pictures do not do this apartment justice) with opening doors I took in a few sunsets; glass of something lovely in hand. I couldn't recommend this place enough, your car parked neatly in the courtyard beneath and a basket of local produce to kick-start your holiday the owner Rosie really knows her stuff! I wouldn't hesitate to come back; Rhosneigr beach is beautiful..the little town has plenty of eateries and a superb fish n chip shop 'Scarletts'! 5 stars well deserved.

  Of all the cottages and apartments we have stayed in over the years, this was the most comfortable, well-appointed and impeccably clean of them all. The location was ideal and we could fault nothing about our stay. Kudos to the owners, who really had thought of everything and provided a very comfortable holiday. • "The apartment was extremely well-organised, nicely furnished and brilliantly equipped."

  We have no suggestions to improve it at all. Very clean and airy with lovely views with it being higher up. Literally everything has been thought about to cater for a family including a 'pooch'. Location is so central and the provision of a car parking spot means some days we just walked from 'home'. Excellent communication with the owners to arrange mid-stay towel and bedding change. Welcome hamper was fantastic and so nice being all locally sourced products. The apartment 'manual' is detailed and really goes above and beyond with suggestions and top tips for the island. Highly recommend this little gem of a place to stay to stay - we have had a lovely fortnight break there and will be back :)

• "Maelog, is such a beautiful apartment."

  On the first night we were blown away by the cleanliness and homeliness of the apartment. It was so light and beautiful, and in such a great location. A five minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach. The apartment is furnished to a really high standard. Every little thing that you might need to feel at home, had already been thought of and we had a wonderful stay. The welcome basket was so nice and it started our holiday off really well. I can't recommend it enough.

• "We had a lovely stay at 14Tides Reach, it was immaculately presented and we felt very safe because it was so clean."

  Everything we needed In the kitchen was available and also very clean . We loved opening the lounge doors in the Late afternoon sun and our dog loved watching other dogs from her high ground! The welcome pack was very good, especially the hand sanitiser and bubbly! We used the shed to park our bikes, which was an added bonus and meant we could visit other places without having to drive with our bikes on the back. Fell in love with Anglesey, we will definitely be back.

• "Tides Reach is more than a base to explore the village and Island, it is a home from home."

  The apartment was very well equipped and had everything we could need for a weeks holiday, the kitchen was kitted out with plenty of crockery and utensils. There were enough bathroom towels and toilet paper (something usually lacking in holiday rentals) for the week. Quality furnishings throughout and well decorated, the owners had put in time and effort to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We found the apartment clean and fresh on arrival, with a welcome pack and fresh milk in the fridge. We absolutely loved our time at Tides Reach and it is easy to see why there were many returning visitors in the guest book.

• "There was absolutely nothing that the owners had not thought of to make their guests comfortable and welcome."

  The kitchen was fully equipped with high quality utensils and crockery etc. There was sufficient spare washing up liquid/tablets etc (even though we had brought our own). The beds were comfortable and the linen was excellent quality. There was plenty to keep us occupied within the apartment with lots of books and games etc for the family. I wish I had brought a couple of books to leave behind for other guests! Maybe next time. My husband commented that the welcome pack was the most comprehensive he had ever seen. If we were strangers to the area we would have had no worries about finding things to do. We have young children so decided to stay within Rhosneigr. We spent time playing football on the beach, rock climbing, kiting, rock pooling etc. The Surf Cafe was a hit with their hot chocolates! The location was outstanding as we were right in the heart of the village and 2 minutes from the beach. When we come back to Rhosneigr we will definitely stay here again as we cannot imagine we would find anything more comfortable and value for money. Thank you!

  It have everything we could possibly need and all of the highest possible quality . The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and loads of hangers and drawers and the kitchen is so well equipped, we wanted for nothing . The beach is at the end of the street and the dogs loved that , there is a shop conveniently situated on the next block , a pub opposite that serves food and a fish and chip shop just round the corner . A walk along the beach brings you to a great restaurant which allows dogs in downstairs and serves great food . Llandudno and Caernarfon are short drives away and both well worth a visit . We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone and will be returning ourselves xx

• "What a fantastic apartment."

  We booked a couple of nights before we stayed and the process could not have been easier. We were impressed with the quality of everything from the furniture and bedding to the cutlery and crockery. We loved the way everything including the tablemats and coasters were themed with a seaside theme and were of good quality. The apartment was beautifully clean and had a really fresh smell. The welcome goodies were very much appreciated and we loved the fact that there were lots of tea bags, coffee and sugar even though we had taken our own. We were celebrating our Ruby wedding anniversary and unfortunately the weather was not kind to us but that didn't stop us walking every day and pottering in the village. The views of the sea were amazing and we enjoyed watching the rugby and caught up on a couple of TV series that we had been unable to watch at home. The smart TV was brilliant!   The owners provided many thoughtful extras, there was nothing that we needed that had not been thought of. Everything was perfect, Maelog is the place to stay at any time of year and we can not wait to return, hopefully very soon.

  The welcome basket was much appreciated as was the dog treats which went down well with my dog. It was well positioned for touring Anglesey and the close proximity of the local beach was like heaven to Barney! Every time we went near the car he hung back as he did not want to go home. In most instances we were actually going to another beach but he was not to know that. The flat was extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished and much thought had been given to your every need (as well as some you did not know that you had!). I am glad we found this little gem as we will be going back!

  The owners had thought of our every possible need from a welcome basket, to a Netflix option on the TV. The apartment is furnished and decorated to a very high standard. The owners are dog lovers and were happy for us to bring our canine friend and even supplied treats, dog towels and poo bags. The property was a 2 minute walk from the local beach, convenience store and a number of cafés. The area is lovely for a quiet family beach trip or as a base for sightseeing. The owner was very helpful and we were able to contact her with any problems. We left something at the property and she is going to post it back to us. I would highly recommend this property for how much of a home from home it was and for the superb location.

  With everything a family would Need. The fixtures and fittings are top class. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach and shops. Having the beach hut shed for sandy things was great too. The owner has really made every effort to make #14 welcoming, with information files and tips for walks. Even dog biscuits, toys and towels! (Though we do not have a dog). A lovely relaxing bolt hole.
