    Everything we needed was there, including towels. The kitchen was very well equipped, and appliances easy to use. Wonderful view over the bay, and close to everything we wanted to do. We hope to come back again next year.

  • "This is the second time we have stayed at Sandy Toes and again it was superb."

    I do have a couple of things I would like to mention, the first was the state of the windows in the lounge and kitchen. When I arrived on Friday the blinds were pulled to, and when I opened them to appreciate the amazing view, the windows were absolutely filthy. They were dirty and full of marks. The second thing to mention is the top cupboard to the left of the hob, it was very kind to leave sugar etc, but some sugar had been left in a green plastic bowl and it was spilt in the cupboard. There was some sugar in a bag which was much appreciated, but the sugar in the bowl should have been disposed of. The rest of the apartment was excellent and we had a great weekend.

    Dear Gil, Thank you for your feedback. I do apologise for the windows not being spotless and the sugar and I followed up with my housekeeper regarding this. On investigation we realised that the marks were on the outside of the windows. As a result I have now followed up with the Maintenance Committee to rectify this. The Maintenance Committee are responsible for having all exterior windows cleaned once a month. There was quite a lot of windy and rainy weather in September which blows salt and sand onto the windows, so you may have been unlucky with the timing of your stay. Nevertheless, the interior windows have had a thorough going over as well. We constantly strive for the highest standards at Sandy Toes and we certainly want our guests to enjoy the wonderful view! For example, we recently replaced the shower apparatus and installed new black out blinds in both bedrooms, so I’m pleased you found the rest of the apartment to be excellent and that you had a lovely weekend break.     Sandy Toes is a second home to us. great comfort and house facilities. Use as centre point to travel the island from or sit and relax with the sea views and sailing activity. good parking and close to a variety of local shops.

  • "The property was lovely with excellent views."

    Sadly the weather for us was pretty miserable which meant more time in the apartment. It was clean however some things had been missed particularly around the shower area and bedroom blinds. It was well equipped and very comfortable just a couple of things overlooked such as bin bags which we had to go and buy. Victoria checked in to see if we were OK and she was lovely and very helpful.

  • "Sandy Toes is in a fabulous location, the views from the apartment overlooking the beach are stunning."

    It is also very handy that it has a parking space and there was lots of parking on the road behind the property. The only downside was that unfortunately it wasn’t very clean. We don’t have dogs, but thought it wouldn’t be a problem for us, but there was loads of dog hair on the furniture and clumps on the carpet, we gave it a good hoover and soon got it sorted. Some of the cushions and throws were quite dirty too. Beds were comfortable and it is very well equipped, just the cleanliness let it down.

    Apartment only minutes, walking, from cafes, restaurants and the beach. Depending on the wind, the view is full of wind surfers, kite surfers, hydrofoils and paddle boarders.

  • "We stayed at Sandy Toes for a week and agree with the other people who have left feedback this is is nice little apartment which is clean and has everything you need."

    My only negative would be there is no out side space and if your doing any Watersports there is nowhere to hang wetsuits or an outside tap or anywhere to store outdoor equipment. The garage at the property is out of bounds and locked up which was a shame. No hand wash was a bit of a surprise in the bathroom or kitchen when we all know now that we should be washing our hands all the time and it was disappointing no welcome pack. All in all a nice little property great parking very central in an amazing part of the world .

    Dear Sonya, Thank you for your feedback. I’m pleased you found the apartment well equipped and clean as our guests’ satisfaction and comfort are very important to us. In response to your feedback regarding the lack of an outside space, there is a sheltered outdoor area by the front door that guests use to dry and store their equipment including wetsuits. Neither of the Victoria Court apartments nor the complex itself offer access to an outdoor tap or a shower and this is not something we advertise as a part of the package. The garage has not been listed as one of the apartment’s facilities available to our guests for the duration of their stay. We had, until recently, left the keys to the garage for the guests to access free of charge. Unfortunately, based on the issues we have had over the past year including damaged door, locks and fittings we have reluctantly decided to no longer offer this option. We agree that now, more than ever, hand hygiene is extremely important, that is why we provide guests with individually packed soap bars. It helps us reduce the use of single use plastic and it is a more environmentally friendly and sustainable option. We also provide hand sanitiser. We do agree Rhosneigr is an amazing place and as we want everyone to be able to enjoy it, we do not offer a welcome pack to our guests which helps us keep the price more affordable. Taking into consideration that our guests have diverse dietary requirements, their potential allergies and personal preference we feel that offering a welcoming pack that is unsuitable would encourage potential waste.   • "Clean and comfortable."

    But no space for dishwasher or washing machine. Excellent views Good cooking facilities and bathroom. No fan during excessively warm weather. Only one key provided. Good for two of us, but we used second bedroom for storage of lggage etc. Would have been tight for space if there had been four of us.

  • "Exceeded expectations."

    Wonderful view and easy access to glorious beaches and dunes. Plenty of local walks ie Lake Maelog and RSPB wetlands for dogs. Using kitchen equipment was a learning curve but got there. Excellent experience.

  • "Although small, Sandy Toes is perfectly formed."

    That said, the living room is surprisingly spacious with the most amazing sea view. Everything we needed for a family holiday was provided and we were able to cook family meals when we weren’t tempted to one of the nearby eateries in Rhosneigr. A very short walk to the beach means you can don and doff your wetsuit at the apartment (outside of course) before jumping into a hot shower. In sum, a perfect little place to get away to!

  • "We’ve just come back from an amazing stay at Sandy Toes!"

    The location was absolutely perfect- a couple of minutes walk to the beach if you went in one direction (with beautiful sea views from the front room and kitchen windows) and a couple of minutes walk to the centre with shops and takeaways if you walked in the other direction. The property had everything we needed and it was nice to hear from the owner while we were there to see if we were enjoying our stay and if we wanted any recommendations for places to eat / things to do.   • "First time staying at Sandy Toes - doubt it will be the last."

    It was a perfect place for us with a nice view of the coast. The apartment was clean, comfortable and roomy enough for 4 of us. PLUS we could easily get to enjoy a 'surfers breakfast' from the surf cafe - maybe a little too easily!!

  • "Arrived in January - place was freezing!"

    Took 24 hours to warm up. Bed sheets had a black stain, sweet wrappers under drawers. Things felt a bit worn. Quite noisy when people arrived in the upstairs apartment. Positives were the view and location. Disappointed as we thought we had booked a five star property.

  • "The apartment isn’t well sign posted so even using sat Nav we kept driving past it."

    The signage for Victoria court wasn’t on display. Had to stop at the local store to ask for location. Other than that I couldn’t fault the apartment.

  • "Just a couple of things that would improve Sandy Toes,an open wardrobe could replace the book case in second bedroom to be shared ,a shelf under bathroom mirror as soap and sponge falls off the sink ,(we took a press on shelf)on our second visit,and to make more use of the fabulous view we moved the table to face the large window as we didn't want to sit under the tv ,but over all we would highly recommend as not many cottages are this clean many thanks to the new The Griffiths and Guiness family x."

The popular seaside village of Rhosneigr is situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, famous for its spectacular cliffs and magnificent sandy beaches. The village has a varied history including a 6th century church, tales of smugglers, famous off-shore shipwrecks and from the Edwardian era it has been a fashionable holiday destination. Today it is known for its magnificent beaches and renowned watersports, providing some of the best windsurfing and kitesurfing in the UK, with tuition available in the village. Activities include fishing, sailing, sand yachting, wreck diving, golf and hours of family fun on the enormous sandy beaches. There are several pubs, restaurants and shops in the village, with the market towns of Llangefni and Holyhead (starting point for day trips to Dublin), and the city of Bangor within easy travelling distance. Rhosneigr is located near to RAF Valley, famed For Prince William's Air Sea Rescue training base.
