  • "The apartment is very nice !"

Yes there are a few things that need looking at but its a lovely apartment in a beautiful area. Positives are great views, close to amenities, close to beach, comfortable bed Negatives are needs a bit of updating on bath sealant, windows, damp patches in dining room and kitchen Over all I would love to book to go back ! Thank you the Gallery !

  • "Overall everything was very good."

.. some charming touches. There was some of the decor (peeling paint, grout and sealant round bath)need redoing). The sofa bed was broken and extremely uncomfortable, my daughter left after three nights as she couldn’t sleep so had to cut her holiday short. Maybe some fairy lights would be good on the metal stairs leading up to the apartment as when returning after dark was quiet precarious. Having said all that we would go back but just with two adults.

  • "The apartment could have been lovely if the property and the furnishings were well maintained."

The sofa bed in the lounge is broken and cannot be used it would be far too uncomfortable to spend a night on, the blinds n the bedroom do not close as the rods that hold them are broken so as soon as the sun comes up you are awake, it would be a very easy fix, The bathroom is tiny and could be easily be made bigger and more comfortable the apartment is also quite grubby and needs decorating . The biggest bug bear on the property is the parking I spent 10.00 per day to park a few times when I couldnt get a spot, so this needs to be factored in. All in all I would not return to the Gallery apartment but I would return to Rhosneiger

  • "The apartment is well situated and close to all amenities."

It is accurately described on your website. The accommodation is light and airy but the bathroom Is very small though servicable. The only drawbacks - the bedroom main lights and the cooker hood make a noise when used and need checking. You also need to take your own DVD player if you want to watch films. Great to people watch from the living room as the apartment overlooks the high street.

  • "Rhosneigr is a lovely village, and it was nice staying in the centre, close to the beach."

The handover of the keys was quick and easy. The entrance to the apartment is round the back of the shops, and up steps, so not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. On the whole the apartment is lovely. There is a sea view, but it is over a lot of houses, and is just a gap in between the buildings.

  • "Good location."

Spacious flat. Downsides -Spiral staircase very narrow. Bathroom on lower floor. No DVD player. Only windows in bedroom would open. Smell of diesel every morning in the kitchen (stored outside under flat). External waste bins all full. Broken blinds in lounge. Lightbulbs broken only 3 out of 8 working in bedroom. Kitchen cupboards doors loose. No WiFi instructions in flat. Flat needs a bit of TLC. Shame as could be an excellent accommodation.

  • "One of my biggest bugbears with some of sykes properties is the thin curtains and cheap bedroom blinds in the bedrooms."

On this occasion 2 of the bedroom blinds wouldnt even pull down allowing light in at 5.30am ! Also discovered one of the lounge windows had a 1 inch gap at the top allowing air to come in. Not only this but at night you could hear everything from the street from bars etc due to the gap in this window. When I brought this up with the owner he said they would repair this at the END of the season. Sorry but if youre paying hundreds of pounds for a week away you expect everything to be perfect.

  • "Very comfortable apartment, very well equipped with lovely views of sea from lounge and bedroom."

Owners really helpful and friendly. Lovely gift shop below as well as a shop close by that appeared to stock all provisions you might need. Good choice of restaurants and bars. Fabulous coastline, lots of good walking. We came to walk and birdwatch and we weren’t disappointed.Would definitely like to return.

The sunsets through the window, the entertainment from windsurfers in the evening was an added bonus. Ideal location to tour the Island.

Some of the older furnishings are looking rather tired.

  • "Beautiful apartment in the perfect location."

Fantastic drives along the coast and through Anglesey. The village really is the nicest place. Lots of restaurants, bars, shops and a bistro / wine bar. The sandy beach is just a minute walk away. (Great to watch the surfers as well). A nice view of the sea and beach from the apartment windows. The owners are very friendly and helpful with arrival times etc but certainly not intrusive, which is great! Looking forward to another week here in the summer time. Thank you for a lovely stay.
