  • "The property was clean and tidy."

Had to contact the cleaner for help to get the TV working.(very helpful). The extractor fan was not working so the smoke alarms kept going off. Also the freezer is badly in need of defrosting.

  • "Great little flat a few minutes walk from the beach."

Flat was clean and well kitted out with everything you’d need for stay. Would stay again. Only a couple of minor issues. There were issue with blinds in the master bedroom due to loose slats which I fixed with tape so should be sorted now. One of slats was in store cupboard so clearly a known issue that was easily sorted. Also the bath shower screen needs fixing in place as it leaks every shower. Dishwasher only works on pan setting.

Very well prepared for our stay. Loverly area. Nice clean beaches only a short walk and shops, pub’s, restaurants close by. Highly recommend staying at this apartment. Dog friendly. Off road parking. Good area to travel to all areas of Anglesey. Just as advertised if not better.

  • "We had a great stay at this property."

The location was great for us. Not too far away to walk into the centre of the village, and also a short driving distance to explore more of Anglesey. It was also great to have a parking space as we noticed other holiday rentals in centre of the village may not have a parking space and have to pay to park on the main roads. We found the apartment to be very clean and just as described. It was great to be able to leave all our Sandy boots at the bottom of the stairs. No issues from the neighbours, in fact didn’t really hear anything from them. We ate out mostly, didn’t make it to the local chippy but it was always very busy. Highly recommend the Oyster catcher if you fancy something a little bit special, or just a pint after a long walk on the beaches. Y Morfa was a great local pub with friendly locals. We had breakfast at the surfers cafe and Chaplins (as recommended in the info book) Chaplins was our favourite, they did a great bacon butty! We will definitely come back to Rhosneigr and stay in this property again. Thanks for the milk and Welsh cakes!

  • "Property was fine Comfortable and had all necessary items close to the beach and location perfect."

The neighbour in number 3 however was very rude on arrival as I was unloading my car and was blocking his drive and had not had chance to put my car in the allocated space before he arrived back. He said this happens every week therefore I am not sure I would recommend this flat due to his unfriendly attitude as he was very angry with me. This did impact on my week as I was wary about him following this experience. That said we had a nice holiday

  • "Light spacious apartment that was very clean."

Broken flag stone for front step that was dangerous. Definitely couldn’t sit outside as it was next to overflowing bins and a bush. Such a shame as the weather was glorious. Tv reception non existent. We would rather listen to music but having a young child it would have been nice for him. Location was good. We love walking so didn’t mind the walk to the beach every day. The beach chairs were really great too, Could do with more drinking cups for water/juice, Overall we had a good holiday.

Felt welcoming and comfortable and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The living room is light and airy and bedrooms were a great size for two adults and two children. Was very useful having a car parking space and we really appreciated the beach chairs left for us to use. Thanks so much.

  • "As stated by previous visitors the flat is conveniently located and provides a good functional base."

We think important to mention is the full flight of internal tiled steps leading into the flat, the bathroom, bedrooms and living room doors all open into this space. The flat is very well provided for with utensils, electrical items etc and everything was clean and in good working order. Unfortunately we didn’t sleep well due to a few issues. The bedroom was stuffy and needed ventilation. A breeze through the open window caused the slatted blinds to rattle against the window. The duvet is a 13 tog. We stayed in May and found this too warm. There was no alternative summer duvet to use. This also contributed to the poor sleep we had here. Unfortunately, on arrival the bathroom had a lot of mould in between tiles and on the wall. This was reported to the cleaners and owner which hopefully has been rectified prior to the next visitor. We were unsure of the outside space and decided the bench mentioned is unusable in reality as it is in a small space that is used by the downstairs occupants for drying washing. This is overall a clean and functional flat but although has access to the beach, feels very urban. However Rhosneigr is as good as ever.

  • "This apartment was located in an idyllic place."

Located just a skip and a jump away from the beach and 5 minute walk away from the village centre. Rhosneigr is just the perfect location. The flat it’s self was comfortable, the only issue was that the toilet would flush randomly throughout the day and night which did disturb sleep. Thanks for such a lovely stay and the thoughtful little treat of welsh cakes on arrival!

The location is excellent, a short walk from the beach and to the town centre. We took 2 teenagers and our 4 legged friend and the layout of the house with space at the bottom of the stairs to leave shoes, leads etc meant sand traveling upstairs was kept to a minimum. The rails for clothing was a bonus for us as oppose to wardrobes as it was so easy to see that everything was packed up at the end of our stay. Would recommend and would use again.

  • "A lack of general articles."

So first thing we had to do was buy dish washer tablets loo rolls milk and the like. For a short rental this is a pain. We are up in Anglesea and there to compete at Trac Môn. So it’s a distraction. There were no notes and no one to check up or greet us. Sykes App did not work either. So afraid will not be using you guys again. Best thing was Sandy Lane House down the road. I will stay there next time. Sorry but we travel a lot and this is below average.

Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry you were not fully happy with your stay. I employ a cleaning company who supply all general amenities including toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, towels, tea towels and cleaning products. I'm assured that these are left out for guests but if an oversight occurred, spares can be found in the cupboards in the apartment Contact details for the manager of the company are in a welcome envelope left on the dining table or in the kitchen so should be visible on arrival. Sykes are also available to help with queries every day and to assist with use of the app. There is no one to greet our guests I'm afraid as is the case with most self catering properties as not all owners live locally. This is why the key is kept in a safe so that guests can arrive at any time and let themselves in. I am sorry you would not wish to return. Property Owner

  • "Overall very enjoyable but not without niggles."

The layout is spot on and copes well with 4 adults and a small dog, proximity to the beach and village centre is ideal. The niggles primarily relate to kitchen items: 1. The pans were not clean and the ones we used had to be scrubbed before use 2. Plenty of spoons and knives but only 3 forks, which clearly doesn't work for a 4 person property! 3. The glasses were a bizarre mixture of glass and plastic, from memory there wasn't 4 of any kind that matched. Most were not clean 4. The bath screen doesn't provide a tight seal between itself and the bath side, consequently every shower taken resulted in a very wet floor, which if left could leak to the downstairs property Thank you for your feedback, these are not issues that we have been made aware of previously and will ensure they are rectified satisfactorily. The missing forks will be replaced immediately, as I was unware of this before your stay, we will also provide matching glassware to compliment the plastic ones as I feel they are useful. Furthermore my cleaners have been made aware of unclean pots and pans complaint for future reference, and the bath/shower seal will be repaired. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your holiday and again want to thank you for providing us with the information to ensure all our guests have a great stay.
