The property

Enjoying a central position within the county town of Caernarfon and within close reach of the majestic Isle of Anglesey and the rolling hills of the Snowdonia National Park, is this superbly appointed property, Llys Gelert.

This delightful retreat is ideal for groups of couples, friends and families seeking a traditional Welsh coastal getaway, within an area steeped with a vast array of attractions and amenities to suit all ages and tastes.

The lower ground floor comprises of a contemporary-styled sitting room, where you can look forward to sinking into the L-shape sofa and tuning into the TV before heading into the well-equipped kitchen to find everything you could possibly need to cater for yourselves during a week-long break.

In here you will be delighted by the stylish units which house quality appliances, perfect for packing up a picnic for the beach or rustling up a home-cooked meal that can be enjoyed at the dining table.

For a couple of hours’ entertainment during a rainy day, head up the staircase to find a well-stocked games room, containing a games console with a selection of games and an iPod dock to tune in your favourite music as you while away a couple of hours.

As the evening draws to a close, find three well-presented bedrooms to choose from, with the ground-floor housing a twin bedroom and the first floor containing a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom, designed to ensure a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit the needs of any group.

Caernarfon (county town of Gwynedd) has much historic and cultural importance in North Wales. It is a popular tourist spot with its impressive 13th Century castle, well preserved town walls and delightful water front. During the season there are guided tours of the castle and special events including historic pageants. There is also a station for the Welsh Highland Railway, which passes through dramatic scenery, the village of Beddgelert and onto Porthmadog. Fishing trips are available from the harbour and another attraction within walking distance of the town centre is Segontium, a Roman fort and museum, housing many important finds. Caernarfon offers a wide selection of shops and places to eat and is close to the lovely beaches of the Isle of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula as well as the mountains and rivers of Snowdonia, including the renowned mountaineering town of Llanberis at the foot of Mount Snowdon.
