  • "The property was in a good location for beaches and shops ,rooms were large and bed comfortable."

The utility room for the dogs was very good. There were however two problems . Because our holiday was in January, the heating by electric storage heaters was not able to heat such large rooms and we had to rely on the open fire to maintain a satisfactory temperature in the living/dining room. This cost over £30 in logs for the fire. The ensuite shower was very good but because of the complex method of obtaining hot water to the shower we were only able to use it two or three times during the week. I hope these comments are constructive , the problems did not spoil our holliday.

  • "Brilliant holiday and the owners where amazing and sorted a few things out very very quickly."

Nothing was no trouble for them, and very easy to contact if need be.

  • "Excellent location enabling travelling to all over the island."

The cottage was beautiful and felt extremely homely we had a brilliant time. Perfect for the dogs with their own room and an enclosed garden to keep them safe . We will definitely be back !! My only criticism would be that it could do with a shower over the bath so people dont have to walk through the bedroom to use the shower In the en suite.

  • "Wonderful, comfortable, spacious holiday home."

Had a lovely stay at LlainDelyn, extremely dog friendly with a room dedicated just for your four legged freinds. Great welcome pack too, the Welsh cakes were delicious. Many thanks, one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in.

  • "Lovely, spacious cottage."

Enclosed garden front and back ideal for my dog. Lovely views. Rural and peaceful but ideally situated for supermarkets at Llangefni not far away and for visiting whole island. So many beautiful bays and beaches to visit. First time in Anglesey but certainly not the last.

The pet room is a fabulous facility and the property is in a great place to visit all the beautiful places on Anglesey

  • "I am disabled and the accommodation fitted majority of my needs and my families."

Couple of points shower door not built for the larger person who is unable to use bath. So this change and more cutlery for home cooking would help, otherwise perfect. Didn’t take my dogs as restriction would have been to much for them as they are always with me. So left with family. Thank you for wonderful holiday and a beautiful accommodation.

  • "Llain Delyn is in an ideal spot, with gorgeous views, spacious rooms and a lovely atmosphere."

It had plenty of room for our party of 3 adults and 2 dogs. The welcome pack was lovely, and most appreciated, the garden is enclosed so ideal for our 4 legged family, and the small patio area was a perfect place to sit and watch the night skies. All of us had a wonderful time, lots of stunning beaches, nature parks and dog friendly activities, we would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to return soon.

  • "Cottage was in a lovely place for touring the island, with beautiful countryside views, and ample off road parking ."

Very spacious inside and plenty outside space , especially the terrace off the dining room, it was fantastic for our dog and the views were spectacular . The cottage was very clean and had everything you could possibly need, and more, for a self catering holiday , including dog bed, bowls and towels. We visit Anglesey every 4/5 weeks as our son lives on the island and this is definitely one of the best we have stayed in Thanks Janet and Kenny Haswell ( and Dexter)

  • "A lovely bungalow with enough space for a family of 4 and a small dog."

Well located to explore the local beaches. The enclosed garden gives peace of mind and if the weather had been better we may have made use of the seating area to the back.

About the location

Newborough 2 miles; Rhosneigr 8 miles.

The small village of Malltraeth lies in the south west corner of Anglesey, at the head of the long inlet formed by the Cefni Estuary and close to the popular Newborough Forest and Warren sand dunes. Malltraeth Pool and the magnificent sweep of marshes and sand dunes, which stretch south to Llanddwyn Island, are all part of a National Nature Reserve. The whole area is renowned for its birdlife and Malltraeth was once home to the famous wildlife artist Charles F Tunnicliffe. There are wonderful forest and coastal walks from the village, which has a pub, a cafe serving afternoon tea and a chip shop (also selling basic items/newspapers etc). Close by are beautiful beaches at Llanddwyn (reputedly the 4th best in Britain), Aberffraw, and Cable Bay, or head to Rhosneigr, which is renowned for its all year round watersports facilities.
