  • "Could probably do with a seasonal deep clean, i."

    E. cobwebs around furnature and ceilings, but otherwise a fantastic, homely, warm property, thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • "Couldn't fault the property."

Would have been good if they could have left some leaflets on the area. (they could have picked enough up enough to leave new ones every week.) As it was, we were stuck to know where everything was. The other little gripe was we really needed a parosol for the table outside. Was way too hot to sit outside most times. Other than that, the property was really lovely.

  • "This is the second time we have visited Mon a Menai."

No problems again this visit and we will return again. A fine choice of location and property.

  • "Generally we were very happy at the property, it suited us accommodation wise, and the spacious kitchen was for us the star of the show, we spent most of our time there when not sitting on the terrace/patio having a drink and watching the sun go down over Anglesey."

We particularly liked the fact that it was generously stocked with good quality saucepans, china etc. and was all new, modern and easy to keep clean. The newly done en suite shower room was another bonus. Also the location - on the edge of Caernarfon and two handy supermarkets, but very peaceful with lovely views, it was ideal for us - mixed party of all ages. Our only niggles are around the somewhat rigorous interpretation of Covid-type regulations: having to empty the dishwasher before a 9 am departure seemed a step too far; also the lack of a basic welcome pack good quality holiday homes always provide - not even milk, the odd tea bag, a bit of sugar. This was a first for me after many years of holiday cottage experiences, the last two in Covid times, August 2020 in N Yorks, and September 2020 in N Devon.

  • "The house and facilities provided at Mon A Menai were above our expectations."

The house was warm and clean and well furnished. The views from the property was relaxing, looking from the terrace over the Menai Straights at all the boats as they sail past. The weather was reasonable and we were able to explore the North Wales area everyday. It was only a short drive in to Caernarfon and papers etc could be bought at the nearby Morrison store. If you are looking for a base to explore the North Wales area you will not go wrong if you stay here. We will book again.

  • "The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac with fantastic views over the Menai Strait."

The house is very well equipped and well set out. It is easy to get to anywhere and within easy walking distance of the town centre and castle. It’s a very good base for exploring North Wales and Anglesey. All in all we were very pleased with our stay and we would recommend to others.

  • "Lovely house in quiet area with fabulous sunset views from the garden."

Kitchen has all the equipment you need to make and bake a banquet . It’s a short walk into Caernarfon ,either along the main road or you can cut down and along the coastal path. Caernarfon is a good base to explore NW Wales and has a castle, good variety of pubs, restaurants , supermarkets and quaint shops . Only things to be aware of is that the garden has a steep drop from patio to grassy area so not really suitable for toddlers .The double bed is on the soft side .Otherwise a fab base for a holiday .

  • "The bungalow is in the perfect location for both people that wish to abandon their car and those that wish to use it to explore."

The scene from the patio is ideal for a lazy afternoon or evening. On first entering the bungalow the first comment was ‘I want to live here’ and that has no change during our holiday. We will certain look to return in the near future that is if all the other returning customers don’t book first. My last note has to be a thank you to the house keeping staff as the property was immaculate on arrival Than you
