  • "We had a wonderful time with the extension being really appreciated as it gave so much light and great views across the inland sea."

    Everything worked very efficiently and straightforwardly. Including the charming neighbour who “did the bins”. My only request would be a new mattress in the second dble bedroom as I think many other solo occupants sleep in the same place, no doubt to use the single bedside light, and therefore the mattress has slumped.

  • "We really, really enjoyed the property and the week's holiday."

    We have aready booked a week in September next year! The location is wonderful for bird watching as you have a tidal wetland viewable from the dining table. The property is extremely well equipped and there was only one small gripe: the light and extractor over the hob didn't work which was frustrating when cooking in the evening. Everything else was good.

  • "What a great spot if you're looking for peace and quiet and to watch the tide come and go!"

    Perfect for me. This place is well equiped and had everything we needed and there are some stunning beaches 5 minutes away by car. The only critisism would be the early check-out (10 am) and late check-in (6 pm) times which seems a little mean; thank you though for accomodating us at 4 pm.

  • "We really enjoyed the bungalow and its fabulous views."

    It was reasonably well equipped for 2 of us, but the amount and variety of pots and pans in the kitchen would not be capable of cooking a meal for 6! There were only 6 mugs - which we struggled with. Instructions for use of the oven would have been useful. If we want to visit the area again, I'm sure we would stay here.

  • "It was a lovely bungalow with lovely view."

    Two things let it down. I found it ludicrous that there was no washing machine, would have gladly ditched the dishwasher to have been able to wash clothes. Secondly was the noise from jets flying over constantly from 8.30am to 18.00pm, they were very loud. All in all a lovely week though but would not go back because of those two points.

  • "Holiday home is in a nice quiet location with open views at the front and is well located for visiting all areas in Anglesey."

    Two bedrooms need hanging space for clothes as none was provided (only drawers). The information brochure stated that laundry bags would be provided for bedding, towels etc at the end of our stay but none were provided. It was also stated a housekeeping book for missing items/suggestions was available, this was missing and we could not record that there was no teapot, milk jug and few microwaveable items available. Heat resistant table mats would also have been appreciated and a hook on the back of the bathroom door for clothes.

  • "Over many years we have been to Anglesey on holiday and used different cottages, but I can truly say this was the cleanest cottage we have ever visited."

    In the Covid-19 era we were especially concerned but we felt totally safe within minutes of entering the cottage. Everything was there that we needed and even the neighbours were very welcoming and helpful. The view from the lounge was wonderful and we enjoyed the air displays too! Just on one point, we thought the addition of a bench outside at the front would have been just perfect, so that we could enjoy the scenery from outside as well. Truly a lovely cottage and, God willing, we hope we may revisit one day. Thank you.

    Lovely bungalow. Spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. Very friendly, helpful neighbours. Panoramic views over the inland sea with great views across to RAF VALLEY. Great value for price. Will use again.

  • "The location was brilliant as was the bungalow."

    We enjoyed sitting in the lounge with the stunning view and watching the aircraft from Valley. We enjoyed walks on the Anglesey Coastal Path from the bungalow and trips by car. Having lived in Llandudno we knew Anglesey quite well so it was good to return to places we knew and also to explore more. The only criticism was that there were no instructions for the oven and microwave so we couldn't use them(maybe because we are getting on a bit!) We appreciated the extra touches like the bottle of wine and candles.

  • "We have been away with Menai quite a few times in the past and know to expect a high standard of holiday."

    This was no exception. The cottage was done beautifully achieving a balance of modern yet homely. The owners had provided almost everything we could have needed. It was in a beautiful corner of Anglesey where we were close to most things however it made us feel a million miles away. Our little ones loved the air show everyday and spotting the many different dogs on the costal path. This week was just what we needed after a strange year for everyone. Thank you.

  • "Lovely holiday cottage."

    Newly refurbished to a very high standard internally. Lots of welcome homely touches such as scented candles, an Alexa, smart TV and fully equipped kitchen. In a great picturesque spot on an inlet. Sea view is superb and you can walk right out when the tide goes out and kids can also paddle. Perfect for walkers. Added bonus is being able to watch the airforce from RAF Valley from the house. Couple of opportunities for improvement would be a washing machine and if the back garden was lawned or artificial grass. The spot is ideal for a quiet base as in a friendly residential neighbourhood. You have to drive to the nearest proper beach, which is a couple of miles away. The shop is also a drive away however there is a pub/hotel for food and drinks a short, flat, walk away. Overall, a lovely homely place to stay and would highly recommend.

The property

Located in a peaceful residential area in the pretty village of Four Mile Bridge on the Isle of Anglesey, is 10 Heol Bradwen, a charming, detached bungalow facing the Inland Sea, the stretch of water that separates Anglesey from Holy Island.

Offering spectacular sea views, as well as access to the Wales Coast Path, this all-ground-floor property is ideal for a family or group of six guests wanting to explore the coastline of Anglesey.

A designated off-road parking space can be found just around the corner from the property and as you head to the entrance, you will get a glimpse of the spectacular sea views, as you make your way through the patio front garden and through a gate to the side entrance of the property.

Step into the contemporary, neutrally-styled kitchen, with sleek cream cupboards and wooden worktops, equipped with all of the appliances you'll need to cook up delicious meals, which can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar or in the living/dining room at the dining table, which showcases spectacular sea views, so you can enjoy your meals with a picturesque backdrop.

There is an armchair facing the sea view, where you can simply sit back and and appreciate the vista, or enjoy a quiet moment with a good book, while the sitting room offers additional seating on a sofa or armchair, placed around the fireplace which houses a warming woodburning stove, which can heat up the room as you snuggle down to enjoy a favourite film or TV show.

Nearby Trearddur Bay showcases a stunning stretch of coastline with a beautiful sandy beach, rocky coves, Porth Diana Nature Reserve and Craig Y Mor, a historic house and museum.

The town of Holyhead offers access to the 200km-long Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, a footpath that encompasses the coastline of the island, taking in ancient and natural sites along the way, as well as Breakwater Country Park, a park and former quarry on the coast with scenic trails, lakes for fishing and opportunities for birdwatching, plus the 19th century South Stack Lighthouse, located on a tiny islet off Anglesey and located at the end of a 400 step decent down the mainland cliffs.
