  • "It was another great week at Angorfa the house is great and we have booked another week in September thanks"

  • "Beautiful well stocked house in an amazing location."

Downstairs shower room was accessible for all ages. The large open plan kitchen living area was perfect , and the view of the sea and the ‘spooky house’ from this room is breathtaking in all weathers. We really felt at home here and it was a lovely setting in which to reconnect with family. We had some issues -One of the windows upstairs had a gap which made the room really cold in windy January . The twin beds downstairs were very uncomfortable, with sagging mattresses. The furniture was perfect for younger age groups but not so much for more senior guests.

  • "The bungalow was great, but perhaps it would have been best to close the property while building work was taking place or to offer renters a discount."

There was no major disruption, but work was taking place which was not ideal.

    Excellent accommodation. And welcome pack.

  • "This was our second year visiting Angorfa as we all love snorkelling, swimming and walking and this is a brilliant location to do all 3 - plus catching up with family locally."

We catered for ourselves the whole week and the kitchen is brilliantly equipped for that (although the oven takes some getting to!). Top marks for the outdoor shower!!!! That was well used! Just a very minor thing about the front door scraping across the tiles and setting teeth on edge but I’m sure that can be fixed? Also the door handle is very stiff so needs to be pushed down hard to open (had a minor panic about that on arrival!) but we had a great holiday - weather was perfect and we really appreciated all the facilities. Thank you

Thank you for your lovely review the door is now sorted. It was new and a few teething troubles. Lovely you have visited Angorfa twice Property Owner

  • "The welcome pack was an unexpected surprise and good quality."

The property is situated in one of the premier locations with uninterrupted views over a small bay and is easily to find and is accessible from the road. Being quite spacious inside was a bonus for a wheelchair user (but mention of a step would have been useful). An easy 10 minute stroll and there are several decent restaurants. Also plenty of paths along the coastline to explore. Perfect! The kitchen is well equipped to cater for everyone’s needs. The king bed we used was a little too firm for us but our son said his single was comfortable. We were unimpressed by Sykes attempt to interrupt our break to change the glazing in the lounge area. Maintenance work like this should be carried out in a vacant property!!!

The King bed now has a new mattress . We had been waiting for the Glass nearly a year delayed because of supply chain. We thought you would be so happy to have a window you could see through sorry .foinconvenienceinwould be a joy Property Owner

  • "The position of the property so close to the sea was fantastic - we were able to snorkel and swim without worrying about getting in the car which made our holiday extremely active!"

The walk-in shower downstairs was very useful when getting back and warming up - although the drain did block it was dealt with very efficiently. When using the car, there were no problems getting to the mountains or other parts of Anglesey. We were mostly lucky with the weather but when we were inside, the space was big enough for all of us to relax. The kitchen was really well equipped - we cooked every night but one- and then ChippyChippy delivered as we were inside their delivery area - happy days!

The house was so well equipped, perfect for us all and the dog. We had brought lots of games but in fact there were games and plenty of things to do left in the house. We particularly enjoyed the location - it’s closeness to the town and beach. Would highly recommend for families.
