The house was perfect for our extended family. My mum even had her own Granny Anex on the lower level complete with separate kitchen and wet room. The owners were even kind enough to share their Electric charging point to save us trying to charge on the island! We will definitely be returning Chris

House still very well equipped and super comfortable. Fantastic location also remains the feature attraction for us. Disappointed that the smashed pane on the balcony still not repaired over a year later though. WiFi is very poor and more of an issue for us this year with having bad weather and spending more time inside. The smart tv is effectively redundant with no chance of streaming an uninterrupted family movie in the evening.

The issues were reported and the lady who attended the location to review the issues was outstanding and took matters to task straight away and they were sorted! The one thing that could be added to the location is a long hosepipe to allow flushing out of watercraft after a day at sea

We have been visiting Anglesey for 50 years and I must say this house is the best we have stayed in. The facilities and position of the house were perfect for our holiday. We asked for all beds to be zipped so we had five doubles for five couples. There was everything you could need. I even worked from the house on the wifi and that worked perfectly aswell ( I was a bit worried as previous visitors had struggled). The views from the gorgeous decking area will stay with us for many years. Many thanks, we will be back.

  • "Excellent thoughtful design, spacious, well equipped and tastefully furnished throughout, beautiful views and ideal location."

Bryniau is a lovely holiday home providing areas for different family needs. Three small points; Travel directions would be simpler from J2 (not 3) off the A55 from where Treaddur Bay is more clearly signed. The kitchen crockery needs more cereal bowls please We were sad that there was not more focus on recycling, certainly on managing food waste separately. The bins were emptied on Wednesday not Friday, maybe affected by the Bank Holiday. But nevertheless, a lovely place to which we will hopefully return soon. Many thanks Frances Hulbert and family

As a party of eleven mature adults we found the main room to be a sociable space, but plenty of other places for anyone wanting to read quietly etc. Great location. Only downside was the unreliable WiFi that other reviews have mentioned. We all loved our stay and would return and recommend.

Beautiful sunsets. Spacious but cosy. Only bad point was inoperable WiFi. Two of our party needed the WiFi for work but couldn't use it and so had to drive out. The TV mostly links to it also. Personnel did attend to rectify the issue, that helped briefly, but went off again not long after. This said, would not hesitate to rebook for family occasions.

Stunning, clean, well appointed, comfy beds & luxury fittings & accessories. The annex and accessible facilities were perfect for grandparents (couple of shelves in bathroom would be useful for toiletries) with easy access from cars. Then just 3 steps up into main living area, fabulous kitchen and views that knocked our socks off! Plenty of space for 6 adults, 2 tweens and a dog (would suggest not ideal for young toddlers due to layout/steps etc). Beautiful Sandy beach, coves with rock pools, great clean swimming; downstairs wet room is excellent for washing & drying wetsuits, kit, sandy shoes & salty swimmers; lovely restaurants (although you’ll need to book ahead as v busy), balconies perfect for sun-downers. • "The location is lovely and the views are better than advertised."

The beds and bedding were both of high quality and very comfortable. The facilities provided were great and the use of space is ingenious. The sofas in the sitting room looked attractive but were not suitable for the older members of our party! It was a shame that there was a broken panel of glass on the balcony as it did impact the view and the overall feeling of luxury that the property would otherwise have had. Unfortunately during our stay there was construction going on next door which meant that it was busy with people, vans and noise from 7.30am-5pm. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go back, provided the neighbouring builds don’t obscure the views!

I’m glad you enjoyed your stay, I’m sorry the construction works on the headland were noisy, the neighbour’s build is now well progressed so hopefully less intrusive/finished by the time other guests read this. Thanks for the note on the sofas, I’ve just put tall legs on them to raise the height for older family members. The glass panel is safe and being replaced very soon. I hope your family find other occasions to come and stay at Bryniau, perhaps in winter to see the spectacular waves crashing on the rocks! Property Owner

Brilliant idea. The house was very well equipped, didn’t want for anything extra. It would be difficult to beat the location and the fabulous views. The sofas in the main room were very uncomfortable. The heat in the house at night made sleep difficult and the windows wouldn’t open sufficiently to allow enough cool fresh air. If the weather had been hot it could have been unbearable.

  • "In general, our stay at Bryniau was great, but there were two issues that caused problems and that we feel should have been disclosed."

One of our party has mobility issues and we chose Bryniau because of its apparent accessibility features. Firstly, there needs to be access to the deck from the lounge, rather than requiring the use of the external steps. While there was a door, it was locked and we could not obtain the key from the manager. This effectively prevented us from using it. Secondly, the couches in the lounge are too low for older people to use, which our party mainly consisted of. We enjoyed our stay, but unless these issues are resolved, we would not book again. Thanks.

  • "Overall the house is fantastic, but there are a few things that would have improved our stay as a group."

The house has a lot of stairs around the living area but there is only one baby gate on the top level of the house so we had to block the stairs with chairs and things from around the house as we had young children toddling around. The toaster doesn’t work properly in the kitchen, and there is no microwave in the main kitchen, only in the annex kitchen. The pillows in the bedrooms are awful. The smell in the shower room upstairs is disgusting at first but it does go after the shower has been used. The house is lovely overall and the view is amazing.

Thank you so much for making the effort to leave this feedback, it will help us continuously improve and it will give other families a better experience. Your suggestions are excellent and we’ve already actioned some of them. We hope you come and stay again, enjoy these improvements you have thoughtfully suggested and make some more wonderful memories on Anglesey. Property Owner

  • "Amazing place with fantastic views."

A very well thought out property, which at first glance appears like a rabbit warren. Every space has been utilised to the best. The main rooms all had fantastic views of the sea. We found the many light switches in the main room hilarious to fathom as those that settled in earlier could hear clicking as we switched off at nighttime. We were a mix of middle aged and grandchildren celebrating two 60th birthdays. We were blessed with great weather, but there is plenty to see even off season. The children had plenty of room to explore and run about outside. We had everything available to cook family meals, were warm enough even when we had frozen nights. Nothing but the finest in the quality of beds and furnishings. The towels were huge and fluffy. Plenty of hot water for relaxing in the bath. We would certainly love to return sometime. Now the negatives. We arrived to a sink full of dirty water with two sponges floating in it. The place was surface clean only, with dirty and greasy oven pans. Mouse droppings under the big coffee table in the lounge and other bits under sofas, a hair bobble, Pringles lid etc. (I have photos). The cleaners don’t appear to have the tools to do a good job. There were nothing to clean the oven with. The vacuum cleaner was blocked with hair. Upon unblocking it, the hoover collected a full container of fluff and worked perfectly. The shower room upstairs smells of dirty mop. We purchased two bottles of bathroom drain unblocker and lifted the drain bar..it needs doing again to solve a simple problem. People have commented on this before. One toaster, reported broken Sept 21 is still broken. A pane of toughened glass was shattered out on the decking (wasn’t an issue but needs fixing). It was after two storms. We had to buy the basics in order to keep the place clean, washing up liquid, surface cleaner, a dish cloth, bathroom sponges, green veg recycling bags. These are usually provided on all holiday rentals. Really picky now. There is only one pillow per head, so if you sleep more raised up, you will have to bring your own. Please don’t be put off. The place has the wow factor and we had a fabulous stay

Also if we were being really picky, it would be great to have condiments available (salt and pepper). The house was fabulous though, referred to as a ‘mansion’ by my nephew! A group of good friends getting together in the most perfect setting. Quirky, but excellent, layout with amazing terraces on three different levels. Really good quality linens and crockery and an excellent TV. There is so much space and all the bedrooms have incredible views. Amazing weather for two days then a wild, wet and windy day. The house is perfect to snuggle up in and watch the crashing waves. Excellent location for coastal walking and playing on the beach. Close to a couple of shops and lots of restaurants. Will definitely return Two minor comments - no cheese grater and not enough tea towels. Other than that, a memorable weekend in a memorable place.

Self contained lower rooms were great for people with mobility issues However disappointed with the following - Internet connection very poor, only worked on first day. Coffee machine had green mouldy grinds in which had obviously been there a while. Large dark carpet stain in upstairs bedroom and both sofas in living room stained. 30 on the Monday to see if it had been sorted but never rang but late on the Sunday night the wi-fi just started working ??? just a note that the cleaners could check under the coffee table and sofas as there were sweets under them which drove the dog mad till we cleaned them up. the only over thing was that before we went away i sent an email and called to find out what kind of duvets were on the beds as one of the party is allergic to feather down but i never got a reply

I was driving and said we had not taken them. When I was able to stop I called others in the house and they said that an enthusiastic teenager may have misread the instructions (they contradict in emails and leaflets) and put the duvets in the washing bag. I then spent 15 minutes trying to phone through and suggest this to your colleague but ended up speaking to a rude man who refused to take a message until I told him my name, address, email and phone number. Given that this had already cost me at least half an hour to simply make a suggestion that someone should look in the laundry, I was more than a little short and simply told him to take a message. This he refused to do without all the other information. I put the phone down. He knew my name, he had already looked at the account and knew which house we had hired. Why he wouldn’t take a message, I do not know…… We didn’t steal the duvets, they will be in the laundry, and I will be sorely angry if you charge me for two duvets on the back of his inability to simply take a message……
