  • "This is a very pleasant apartment."

It is very cosy and comfortable. The weather was wild wet and windy so it was fantastic to come back to a warm and welcoming place. We loved it. It has a lovely view of the sea from the side window and is lovely and light. It is a stones throw from the beach and within walking distance to lots of cafes restaurants and a handy shop. Mr Hughes was there to greet us and left a lovely hamper. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We have booked 2 more holidays

There was an arrival gift of food including barabrith ,Welsh cakes ,not forgetting the bottle of wine. Mr Hughes. Also gave us a bag of home- grown tomatoes and cucumber. Beautiful views across to the bay and a balcony with chairs and tables to sit and watch the sun go down. The beds were comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Best of all was the lift up to the 2nd floor, a great help for elderly knees!! We have already rebooked for next September.

  • "It's always a pleasure to give positive feedback when you've had a good experience, and that's definitely the case with this apartment."

We've stayed at this location before, but always at the Treaddur Bay Hotel just up the road, but we had other family staying this time and a two bedroom flat offered more flexibility. Sykes has an efficient online platform which messaged us in good time, both for payments and instructions for arrival procedures. Mr Hughes (the owner) phoned us the day before arrival to arrange the key handover and was on time and very helpful. The flat was on the second floor, and there was a lift in the block which made getting the luggage up much more convenient. The flat was well presented and clean. Nice little touches like a welcome pack and a bottle of wine were appreciated too. One bedroom was a double, the other a twin. Both with en suites and another toilet off the hallway. Kitchen was well equipped, dishwasher/washing machine/ microwave etc. All in all, a good experience , and we'll definitely be staying here again.

Anglesy is such a lovely peaceful place and in particular Trearddur Bay and this is a fantastic base for exploring. The beach is around the corner and some lovely places to eat/ drink within walking distance. South Stack is definitely worth a visit and only a few miles away. All the internals and facilities went beyond our expectations. The lift was an added bonus as I didn’t remember this facility from the Sykes advert page. The only gripe was the internet kept dropping out and the small width of the parking bays which at times proved a bit difficult with access to the cars. The owner was spot on with the key handover, not over the top or demanding in any way. He also went the extra mile and had a second set of keys cut for us on arrival and returned with them within the hour which was very much appreciated. Also, the location could not be better for the beach and road access for days out etc. By far the best accommodation we have booked in Wales and particularly Anglesey..

Apartment is in a perfect location being just a stone's throw from the beach, the playground and the local eateries. Apartment fitted out to a high standard and the balcony is both a nice sun trap and good to watch the sunset with a drink or two. Only recommendations would be to provide a mattress topper in the cupboard if needed as my wife found the mattress too hard, wasn't a problem for me or the kids. Also to boost the WiFi signal as this was choppy in the lounge. That said we would not hesitate to book again.

The building itself is perfectly located, brand new with 2 private parking spaces and a garage to store all your beach things- it’s literally a 2 minute walk to shops, bar/restaurants and the beach. The pictures on the website don’t do justice to the apartment... it is huge for a 2 bed, everything is immaculate and beautifully decorated- very modern and bright. We had all the amenities we needed- we had a week of scorching weather so spent most of it with the bifold doors open, eating out dinner in the balcony looking out to the beautiful view. There is so much to do in the local area- South Stack lighthouse, Rhosneigr watersports, Caernarfon castle, boats at Beaumaris.... I could go on! On our last night we sat in the local bar ‘the black seal’ and watched the RNLI launch their lifeboats. A truly memorable holiday. Thankyou!
