  • "We all had a fabulous holiday."

The house is fantastic the pictures really don’t do it justice. It is so well equipped there is nothing else needed. The hot tub is an added bonus too. Steve was really nice and informative and we knew he was there for anything if need be. The house well it was very clean and comfortable. So lovely to have three bathrooms as there were three families staying so we all had our own. Nice crisp sheets fluffy towels and the welcome pack was so nice too. The games room went down a treat with everyone. We hope to go back and stay again in the future.

  • "This is a lovely property with plenty of space for all the family or families!"

Lots of space to park if you have more than one car in your party. Kitchen is well equipped with and bathrooms are spacious. Hot tub and games room were well appreciated by our adults. Lots of outdoor space with lovely views. Our week was blessed with fine weather. Owners live just up the hill and are very friendly and helpful with a lovely welcome pack left for guests. Our shopping arrived before we did so Steve took it in and put the cold food away! Travel cot and high chair are provided if you have very young children. A lovely holiday home in a beautiful spot. We will be looking to return.

Steve and Caroline were very thoughtful in there leaving a wellcome box and gave us some great recommendation for a very tasty take away.We stayed for 2 weeks and despite a few wet and windy days we found the games room most enjoyable. We hope to spend our next family reunion at this more than home from home..Thanks Steve and Caroline for making our stay special.

As someone else has said the photos don't do it justice. The views and the land around the house are amazing. The owners were lovely and helpful throughout. We will definitely be booking another visit. Thanks for a lovely stay!

  • "The online photos don't do the property justice it is a fabulous cottage in a stunning location."

We loved that there was access to the Coastal path across the road from the cottage so we didn't have to get in the car to go everywhere and there is a good choice of shops only 6 minutes away in Holyhead. The cottage was clean and well equipped for it's size. The hot tub and pool table were well used and appreciated especially as the weather wasn't the best. We will definitely recommend the property and would come back. Thanks x

The smallest detail has been considered, and it’s obvious it’s cared for, rather than just a ‘holiday let’. Only 1 niggle was for more warmth in the Games Room, although we did have 4 seasons in 1 week weather wise! Thank you for our stay….we didn’t want to leave! We’ll definitely be back.

  • "This is a fantastic property."

Extremely comfortable with a lot of thought from the owner. Bryn Meilw is very spacious and very well kept. Lovely facilities for a family (we stayed as a group of 4 adults and 3 children) with a great hot tub and games room as well as very well kept large outside areas for the children to play in or adults to admire the fantastic views all round. There is a well-equipped spacious kitchen with a brand new aga cooker which everyone enjoyed using. Steve the owner is on hand to answer any queries should they arise and provide excellent local information. This is a high quality excellent home.

Wow! Thank you so much for the feedback, but more importantly, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. It was a pleasure to meet you all, and as mentioned at the time, as we haven't been running the business for long, really gratifying to know that we seem to be doing the right thing, and making people happy. Thanks again Property Owner

As good as the pictures are, the actual cottage is so much better. The owners have thought of everything, and everything is really top quality. The location is remote, so driving is essential, but the peace and the views are spectacular. I can’t imagine anyone ever having any complaints about this cottage. Don’t hesitate to book!

Thank you for your feedback. We have tried to make the house as comfortable as possible, and to be somewhere we ourselves would love to stay in, so it is really pleasing to hear that you feel the same way. Property Owner

The house is beautiful, well laid out and with ample space for an extended family (like us) or group of friends. Accessibility for an elderly parent meant we could relax and enjoy our time together. There’s a games room and hot tub that kept the younger members of family well entertained. As for the location, it’s perfect for visiting many of the places of interest - Beaumaris Castle, Great Orme, Llandudno, the Stack Lighthouse and the excellent beaches close by. Many thanks to Steve, Caroline and Erin for making it a memorable holiday.

About the location

Trearddur Bay 3 miles.

The bustling town of Holyhead rests on the North West coast of the Isle of Anglesey, the largest town on the island and perhaps known best for being the main ferry port to Ireland. Steeped in history, the town boasts the remains of Roman town walls and forts, medieval burial chambers and stone village foundations. Explore the Breakwater Country Park, a former quarry, which offers designated walks through the grounds. The park is full of interesting wildlife, most notably the seals who visit the Holyhead coast, and outlines the amazing construction of the world's longest breakwater, some 1.8 miles, which today protects the harbour. Visit the colourful marina with its yachts and tall ships, or the town's maritime museum, with its tales of 100 shipwrecks in the vicinity. Day trips to Ireland can be enjoyed easily from here, with Dublin just 90 minutes away on the fast ferry. With spectacular cliff top walks over Holyhead Mountain, golden sandy beaches at the award winning Trearddur Bay and the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park just a 20 minute drive away, this is a superb holiday location, at any time of the year.
