It certainly exceeded our expectations. It was excellent value for money considering it was school holidays. My experience with holiday lets is usually fair/poor/worn standard of furniture, damp bathrooms and poorly equipped kitchens! Marbuchan (961394) was none of these. The standard of furniture was of a very high quality in all the rooms. The standard of decorating in all the rooms was excellent. The beds and bedding and towels too were of the same high quality as in the rest of the house. The bathroom and en-suite room were also furnished to a superior standard. Barbara and her husband had thought of everything to make our stay perfect, from the 'Welcome Notice' in the hall to the food hamper in the kitchen containing, milk, butter, biscuits and a lovely bottle of Proseco, And kindling and coal for the open fire. The children enjoyed the stay. They especially liked the comfy, soft blankets that Barbara had put in their rooms, which the sat cuddled up in, in front of the TV watching their DVD's in the evening. And they also enjoyed the many books and games which Barbra had supplied. We would certainly want to return again , but I think this will be impossible, because I think that Barbara and Frank already have a lot of repeat guests returning.
