  • "This was our second visit to Bronallt, and once again it didn't disappoint."

The property was spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming. We stayed here for 7 nights, it is a great base in a great location for the whole of North Wales and Anglesey. The property is stocked with everything you need for a stay, thanks again Barbara

  • "This is the best holiday cottage experience we've had."

The welcoming tray was extremely generous (especially the bara brith!). All the extensive equipment and furnishings were fresh and new. The location is excellent, looking out on to a well-cared for garden (with visiting feathered friends) and field beyond. We had no hesitation in booking Bronallt for our next stay.

  • "Lovely property home from home."

Being disabled I was pleased for the higher toilet and shower stool. I don’t think the doors are wide enough to take a wheelchair but for anyone disabled who can walk about indoors this property is ideal. Very clean and comfortable beds a bit high but with a small step stool manageable. Welcome pack was ideal, we didn’t have to shop the first evening but enjoyed fresh poached eggs.

  • "Feedback is detailed in visitor book which owner reads on changeover."

Bronallt is a 5 star property in all respects. You do need to use your car even to get to the local amenities (which are well worth visiting) unless you’re supremely fit. There are many places to visit - coastal towns in both North Wales and Anglesey; Snowdonia, NT properties - none further than 45 mins and on pothole free roads! We found sufficient to entertain ourselves in a 10 day visit. Highly recommended.

Upon arrival the property was found to be spotless, warm and welcoming, a spacious property set in lovely gardens, and a lovely welcome tray off Barbara which was an added surprise! Everything in the property is very high quality, with everything you need to just turn up and relax, a fantastic shower, comfy beds and a fully equipped kitchen. The location of the property is excellent, from the local Marina and boatyard with views across the Menai Strait, and further afield for exploring North Wales, Anglesey and beyond. Locally there are a number of cracking eateries, such as Tafarn Y Fic (pub with excellent Thai restaurant) and The Swellies (rustic cafe that does a cracking breakfast) plus supermarkets either side in Bangor and Caernarfon for all your supplies. There is loads to do in this area whatever your age, from beaches, castles and towns to National Trust places, kids places and anywhere outdoors, just bring a waterproof coat and don't believe the weather reports! We will definitely be returning to this property!

Just a couple of points we would raise it would have been nice to have had some patio furniture i.e. table and chairs umbrella as we had sunny weather, there are loungers but they are not suitable for my elderly mother this would have enhanced her stay. The other point is that the oven is great very efficient, but the top hot plates are very difficult to operate and get going, we could not have a full English breakfast or anything else for that matter, we found that very frustrating indeed, and you also need great strength in your fingers to keep pressing the ignition plate. Great shower plenty of hot water maybe consider a grab rail! Apart from these niggles we had a pleasant holiday and love the Port. March 2022. Nicola Chester.

We found it to be very clean and comfortable and the big thing for me that made us book this property was the glowing reviews not just about Bronallt but the most helpful and thoughtful Owner Barbara, even to the point of installing a BT Landline for guests to use, which having been on holiday with my elderly mother I found very comforting even though she lives just up the road should there be any issues. We also enjoyed her Cottage Suppers which again was very helpful. The rear garden is well manicured shrubs flowers and lawn outlook to fields very peaceful. The kitchen utensils were plentiful. Loved Port Dinorwic beautiful views over the Straits glad we chose this area to stay. Would love to come back one day! Mrs Brown and Nicola Perry of Chester Oct 2021

It’s worth staying just for Barbara! The photos make the cottage look like it’s in the middle of nowhere but it isn’t, it’s on a quiet lane with houses next door and opposite. There is also a fairly large road the other side of the field and you can hear a faint hum of traffic. We get out and about a lot on holiday so it was fine for us and it doesn’t really disturb time in the garden. The holiday cottage is VERY comfortable with great quality beds & bedding, it’s got a lot of lovely light from all directions. The kitchen is SO well appointed with top of the range utilities and everything you need. The garden is lovely and well maintained. A couple of VERY small points that would make our stay perfect is if there could be a couple of large mugs provided (we like a huge cuppa in the morning

Spotlessly clean. Traditional decor. Very generous and thoughtful welcome pack. For a small kitchen very well equipped with everything you could need. Could be improved by blackout blinds / curtain liners - the twin room was very bright in the mornings so our kids were up quite early and perhaps a more modern lounge. Bedrooms cosy and very comfortable beds. Small garden at the rear but private with views over a field. Nice that the kids could run right round the cottage. No hesitation in recommending it to others.
