  • "We arrived to the bungalow with lovely sweeping well maintained lawns and most attractive detached residence."

We found it to be very clean and comfortable and the big thing for me that made us book this property was the glowing reviews not just about Bronallt but the most helpful and thoughtful Owner Barbara, even to the point of installing a BT Landline for guests to use, which having been on holiday with my elderly mother I found very comforting even though she lives just up the road should there be any issues. We also enjoyed her Cottage Suppers which again was very helpful. The rear garden is well manicured shrubs flowers and lawn outlook to fields very peaceful. The kitchen utensils were plentiful. Loved Port Dinorwic beautiful views over the Straits glad we chose this area to stay. Would love to come back one day! Mrs Brown and Nicola Perry of Chester Oct 2021

The host Barbara was on hand for everything we needed! It is like a home from home and will definitely be returning! Stunning beaches and mountains to visit too! 5*

  • "We very much enjoyed our stay in Branallt cottage."

It is excellently located, both for exploring Anglesey and the mainland. The cottage iitself is in immaculate condition - it was the cleanest cottage I’ve ever stayed in. It is very well equipped (especially the kitchen) and very comfortable. There was nothing too much for the owner to do - she was very kind and helpful. I would unreservedly recommend both the cottage and Menai Holidays to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

  • "We could not fault Bronallt."

Extremely clean. High quality fittings in kitchen, lovely shower, comfortable beds, pleasant garden to sit in and watch variety of birds, also cattle in nearby field were an added attraction. Interesting walk around Port Dinorwic, easy drive to Bangor and Caernarfon. Pleasant level walk along Wales Coastal Path. We highly recommend this holiday cottage. There was a very generous 'welcome basket' from the owner, Barbara, who was very friendly but not at all intrusive.

  • "The property had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, there was nothing we couldn't find."

The property was extremely clean and tidy and we would love to use it again in the future. It was very near walks, 4 miles either side of Caernarfon and Bangor and 7 miles from Llanberis for our walk up Snowdon. Anglesey was just a few minutes drive away and we spent a lot of time there, walking and enjoying the scenery. Overall this holiday was one of the best we have had in the UK.

  • "Barbara is an amazing host, providing an hugely generous welcome tray (and more but I don’t want to ruin the surprise), plenty of everything (lots of teabags, dishwasher tablets, tissues in every room, loads of towels & tea towels, lots of crockery so you don’t keep running out and need to run an empty dishwasher etc etc)."

It’s worth staying just for Barbara! The photos make the cottage look like it’s in the middle of nowhere but it isn’t, it’s on a quiet lane with houses next door and opposite. There is also a fairly large road the other side of the field and you can hear a faint hum of traffic. We get out and about a lot on holiday so it was fine for us and it doesn’t really disturb time in the garden. The holiday cottage is VERY comfortable with great quality beds & bedding, it’s got a lot of lovely light from all directions. The kitchen is SO well appointed with top of the range utilities and everything you need. The garden is lovely and well maintained. A couple of VERY small points that would make our stay perfect is if there could be a couple of large mugs provided (we like a huge cuppa in the morning

  • "Very comfortable cottage."

Spotlessly clean. Traditional decor. Very generous and thoughtful welcome pack. For a small kitchen very well equipped with everything you could need. Could be improved by blackout blinds / curtain liners - the twin room was very bright in the mornings so our kids were up quite early and perhaps a more modern lounge. Bedrooms cosy and very comfortable beds. Small garden at the rear but private with views over a field. Nice that the kids could run right round the cottage. No hesitation in recommending it to others.

Owner very friendly and helpful. We have just had our 2nd holiday at Bronallt it was brilliant. Same as last year a home from home everything you could want and spotlessly clean. We had to have medical equipment delivered while we were there and even that was no problem. The hospitality tray laid out for our arrival was a very welcome touch the bara brith was the best we've ever had. Hope to go back next year. Thank you Barbara.
