The property

Settled on the outskirts of the village of Y Felinheli in Gwynedd, is this contemporary, detached cottage, Rhiwal.

Furnished and decorated to a high standard, this delightful conversion provides ideal accommodation for a sociable holiday with families or groups of friends.

The open-plan living accommodation is light and bright with lots of windows and sunken spotlights, with the sitting area boasting a wonderful multi-fuel stove, perfect to relax in front of after a busy day out walking.

The amply-equipped kitchen provides everything you'll need to create a wonderful feast, with the wine cooler ensuring your favourite bottle is chilled to perfection and ready to enjoy with your meal.

The two well-appointed bedrooms both have a double bed and TV as well as a stylish bathroom.

Outside this wonderful cottage is a paved patio with seating where you can sit and enjoy an early morning cup of coffee, as well as being ideal for alfresco dining on a warm summers evening.

Y Felinheli has plenty of pubs and wine bars to visit with a number of five-star restaurants in the marina enabling you to have superb, memorable meals.

With footpaths leading to the Menai Straits and the Wales Coastal Path, you can enjoy long walks whilst taking in your surrounding scenery.

Why not visit the medieval castle of Caernarfon for an interesting day out?

Spend a day at one of the stunning sandy beaches nearby, or visit Plas Menai National Watersports Centre with an indoor swimming pool as well as a wide range of activities to choose from including sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and mountain biking.

With the Snowdonia National Park, the Llyn Peninsula and the stunning Isle of Anglesey all within easy reach you will be spoilt for choice in this area.

Y Felinheli, formerly know as Port Dinorwic, is situated on the beautiful Menai Strait between the historic town of Caernarfon and the cathedral city of Bangor. Home to a small, established yachting marina with an interesting lock (allowing boats to enter or leave before cruising down the Straits to the open sea), this small village also has a couple of pubs, a restaurant and cafe in the dock area, a shop and Post Office, a beautician, a hairdresser and several great restaurants on the nearby Island of Anglesey. Visitors to this lovely region are spoilt for choice, with stunning Snowdonia, the beautiful Llyn Peninsula, or the sandy beaches of the Isle of Anglesey all within easy reach.
