  • "Not for us the morning coffee on the terrace, nor cocktail on the terrace as the weather was extremely wet and windy for our stay."

Fortunately, Lena's Corner is a clean, comfortable, well equipped, quiet and warm flat. So an excellent stay. We would only suggest a more powerful lighting in the living room to be able to read more easily on a very grey day. And... if you want to watch Netflix or other sites, don't forget to bring your passwords.

So glad you enjoyed your stay at Lena's Corner. I requested better weather, unfortunately it didn't transpire. Property Owner

  • "I could not fault Lena's Corner."

It was very bright and airy and well presented, with everything you could want. Meticulously clean, too - exemplary. Very comfortable bed, and I slept really well. The Firth of Clyde is stunning and I'd recommend a walk at Puck's Glen. The flat is within easy walking distance of the Abbot's Glen reservoir. The photos of Lena's Corner don't really do it justice!

So glad you enjoyed your stay at Lena's Corner. We like to think we provide a home from home feeling. Pleased you found the bed comfortable and slept well. Also glad you enjoyed the beautiful surroundings to be found and enjoyed in the area. I shall pass on your comments regarding the photos not doing it justice. Property Owner

Be welcomed into a beautifully-styled property with oak flooring and enter into an amply fitted kitchen with all of the home-from-home amenities needed to cook up a storm.

About the location

DUNOON

Glasgow 36 miles.

The traditional resort town of Dunoon sits on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll on the west coast of Scotland. Accessible by both land and sea, the trip to Dunoon can either be a ferry crossing over the Firth of Clyde, considered to be one of the best sailing areas in the world, or by a drive through spectacular scenery of dramatic mountains and lochs, each more breathtaking than the last. The area boasts a full calendar of events from food and music festivals to sailing regattas and a well-known Highland Gathering. Dunoon itself boasts many bars, coffee shops and restaurants offering local seafood as well as a high street of mainly independent shops offering a refreshingly different shopping experience. Benmore Botanic Garden is well worth a visit with its walled garden, imposing Giant Sequoia trees and hillside walks affording views over Holy Loch, renowned for its shipbuilding tradition and which, for many years, was a US Navy submarine base. With excellent walking, sailing and scenery to be enjoyed, and Glasgow around an hour's drive away, there is something to delight everyone in this truly beautiful part of Scotland.
