"This house was PERFECT for our family get away."
Plenty rooms and bathrooms, no one felt ontop of each other. Kids had their own spaces... it's was brilliant. The only downfall we would say, we would have liked atheist some basic cleaning supplies... dishwasher liquid, sponge and a general spray. This would have made the stay more comfortable and have been a lot easier in keeping onto of the cleaning
"Overall very good, spacious , clean and highly recommended specially for bigger group."

"The house had everything we could possibly need for our large family celebration."
Lots of space inside and out and the kitchen was better equipped than my own at home. Very comfortable accommodation with beautiful views right on the front and only a few minutes walk from the centre of town. The owners were so kind. Provided all we needed for two babies in the family and kept in touch to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Highly recommend.

About the location
ROTHESAY, ISLE OF BUTE
Port Bannatyne 2.2 miles; Kilchattan Bay 7 miles
Although its castle dates from the 13th Century, the seaside town of Rothesay became very popular as a tourist destination in the Victorian era when many Glaswegians would go ‘doon the watter’ (down the River Clyde) and across on the ferry to Bute. Today there is much to do and see on this beautiful island which is very accessible by ferry crossing, either the 35 minute trip from Wemyss Bay or else the shorter 5 minute crossing to the north of the island from Colintraive. Visit the castle ruins in the centre of town, enjoy the stunning scenery with coastal walks or on one of the cycle routes around the island and visit historic Mount Stuart House as well as its superb gardens. Why not try one of the island’s three golf courses or chill out at Scalpsie Bay and watch the seals, with stunning views across to Arran?
