“Really lovely house - very spacious with everything you need.”

Nice garden and views that would be great in the summer. It is very rural down a private road so you have to drive everywhere but it is only a few minutes into Balloch where there are plenty of amenities. Parking in front of the house

Known as the gateway to the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, Balloch sits at the south end of Loch Lomond and is on the main road connecting Glasgow to the Western Highlands. Its popularity as a tourist town grew in the 19th century with the increasing number of boats arriving to tour the Loch, as well as foot passengers by rail from Glasgow. Today there are many boats that will tour the loch from Balloch including the elegant paddle steamer The Maid of The Loch. The Loch Lomond Shores shopping complex has a wide range of outlets and cafes and there is also an aquarium and Balloch Castle Country Park with its 200 acres of woodland. As well as the majestic loch, the surrounding scenery includes superb walking and cycling and Ben Lomond at 3196 feet is the most southerly of the Munros.
