The property

Resting in the peaceful town of Innellan in the region of Argyll and Bute lies Sea Nest, a well-presented fourth-floor apartment boasting sea views.

Decorated with a stylish but quintessentially Scottish décor, this lovely apartment is perfect for couples looking for a romantic retreat to this stunning area of the country.

Arriving at the property, the kitchen/diner hosts all the amenities you need for your self catering requirements, including an electric oven and hob and a handy dishwasher, inviting you to whip up a delicious breakfast to be enjoyed at the dining table before a day of exploring your surroundings.

From here, snuggle up on the sofa and watch TV with your loved one as your four-legged friend rests in the 'dog house' and the electric stove gently warms the room around you.

The living and dining room is home to two plush tartan chairs and a leather sofa, along with tasteful artwork and ornaments, where you can also dine in the window as you look out over the magnificent sea views from this elevated position.

When sleep calls, venture to the double bedroom for some well-earned rest ahead of the next day's activities; the bedroom is home to plenty of storage for you to unpack your belongings, and a charming window seat perfect for enjoying the views with your morning cup of tea.

Choose to indulge in a bubble bath; the bathroom hosts a bath, shower over, a basin and a WC, where you can freshen up before activities or get stuck into a good book after a long day of discovering the local area.

Treat yourself to a meal and drink at one of the nearby pubs such as The Osborne Bar and Restaurant serving both a lunch and a dinner menu, or head into Dunoon to Rio Ristaurante or for a traditional seaside bite, Anselmo's Fish & Chips.

The nearby town of Dunoon also has plenty of attractions you can visit during your trip; the Castle House Museum and Gardens makes for a fascinating day out, bookended with a tranquil stroll through the gardens.

From here, take a walk to Dunoon Burgh Hall, which hosts exhibitions and shows throughout the year, known as the culture hub of Dunoon.

While you are in the area, discover Dunoon's delightful promenade, beautiful Victorian pier and its high street, complete with plenty of shops, pubs, and restaurants so you will not be short of scenic walks and delicious snacks to fuel the day's excursions.

Taking a trip in the opposite direction, happen upon Castle Toward, a magnificent 19th century castle built in 1820 by a Glasgow merchant overlooking Rothesay Bay.

Walkers and cyclists will relish in the close proximity of the Argyll Forest Park; here you can take the Kilmun Aboretum route, passing through 160 species of tree in the woodland, as well as many other routes for varying abilities.

Sea Nest is the perfect base for a romantic and adventurous holiday to this magnificent part of Scotland.
