“This cleverly converted coach house with a slightly unusual layout was bright and spacious and also very cosy and comfortable and equipped to a high standard with everything you need to self-cater.”
Ideal for a peaceful and relaxing break whatever the weather and a great base for exploring the surrounding countryside in this stunning area of Scotland. It is a privilege to be able to freely explore the grounds of Cloncaird Castle in which the property is located and although it feels like a remote location, there is a pub (Kirkmichael), a very good quality restaurant (Minishant) and a Co-op supermarket (Maybole) - all within a 20 minute drive. There is no wi-fi but mobile phone signal is good. There are great walks in the nearby Galloway Forest Park and a favourite to visit was Culzean Castle (a National Trust property with free wi-fi in the café).
