“Lovely cottage , high end spec in well maintained grounds had a really enjoyable stay!”- Mrs Hillier, September 2021
“First class accommodation, excellent stables conversion, however the kitchen was missing a few items that would have been useful i.”
E. bottle opener/corkscrew sieve. Wifi would have been useful too but it's absence didn't spoil our holiday.- Mr Harris, June 2021
“The setting/grounds are just beautiful and the property itself charming.”
I’d read an article in a the Scotsman and local newspaper about the properties when they were launched and the use of local producers to leave a welcome box and fresh flowers. There wasn’t so much a single toilet roll, carton of milk or a sachet of tea or coffee. The cobwebs, abundance of hair in the shower tray and lack of WiFi (which was said to be available) were disappointing. No sieve or bottle opener, no spray to clean the surfaces ...... all little things but cause inconvenience. However, we would go again and would recommend to friends (maybe wouldn’t mention the bath Matt that was the most over washed, hard threadbare item I’d seen in a property). Mr Belcher could do better I’m sure. A little more care and love for the property would be great. The grounds outstanding though.- Mrs Barton, May 2021
“A very good place for a relaxing time grounds of estate very well kept.”
A good base for exploring the area’s fantastic scenery- Mr Sooley, October 2020
“The location was amazing.”
The accomodation was lovely and comfortable. Steven took care of any little glitches in a warm and friendly manner and made us very welcome. Great place to stay and explore from.- Mrs Mackenzie-watson, August 2020
