The property

A wonderfully presented property resting within the idyllic area of Doonfoot & Alloway, near Ayr.

This ground-floor accommodation rests paces away from the coast and is two miles away from the popular town of Ayr, making a wonderful spot for a family getaway.

Alloway is a suburb of Ayr and is best known as the birthplace of Robert Burns, a celebrated Scottish poet. Within this village you will find a wealth of attractions including the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, the Brig o' Doon, the Cambusdoon Sports Club and the flowing River Doon. It also houses a selection of shops, a café, a rugby club and a number of small businesses. Within two miles North of the village you will find the popular seaside town of Ayr, boasting a larger selection of amenities to suit all ages and tastes. Here, you will also find a bustling promenade and a sandy beach which is perfect for a family day out. Golfing is also popular within the area, with the Belleisle and Seafield golf courses situated in Belleisle Estate. Further afield is the Galloway Forest Park which offers superb circular walks around Loch Ken and breath-taking scenery.
