  • "A comfortable, relaxing garden flat."

The beds were very comfy, quality mattress, duvet, pillows and linen. Window dressings were very nice. Bathroom excellent, shower a joy! (sometimes they're not) Kitchen was well equipped, and a pint of milk was part of the welcome tray. Smart TV and WiFi facilities worked well. Central heating impressive. The living room furniture was comfy, throws were here and there. And of course the garden was as pictured.. A little sun trap. Fairy lights in the evening. I'm trying to think of a negative, but it is as described, and I wasn't disappointed. Round the corner from the bus station.. And you can see the sea from the bedrooms...

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback, Pat. I'm delighted you enjoyed your stay at Garden Apartment and found it so comfortable. I do hope to welcome you back the next time you fancy a wee break by the sea! Kind regards Sue Property Owner

  • "The apartment was lovely."

really clean and well equipped and Sue, the owner was really friendly. We didn't really like the town very much as it was a bit run down. We had a few nice walks along the beach - which is the best bit about the town. There was an ice cream shop round the corner to the apartment which was really disappointing, however there are some good restaurants in the town particularly the Rock Pool - fish restaurant.

Thank you so much for your kind feedback on Garden Apartment. It means a lot to me. I am sorry that you found Ayr itself disappointing. I will admit that the excellent road and rail links to Glasgow have meant that many big names have left Ayr High Street in the last few years. However, we do have some lovely parks, great golf courses and interesting historical attractions. The apartment is just walking distance to the Gaiety Theatre, live music venues and brilliant restaurants. It makes a great base to explore the really stunning Ayrshire & Arran region. I hope one day you'll give us another chance to show off this amazing area to you. Once again, thank you for your feedback. Property Owner

  • "The facilities in the apartment were great, all clean and well equipped."

The road outside the apartment was quite busy, and with the bedrooms at the front we were woken a little earlier than we’d have hoped. Parking in the nearby car park was fine, especially once we realised we could pay online and so didn’t have to dash out to the car at 9:30 every morning. Checking in & out was easy and hassle free.

  • "Meet & greet guests, information provided helped us a lot for local shops things to do, information leaflets, provided milk for our tea that was amazing, opportunity to contact owner if we needed anything, really enjoyed our stay, also contact before we arrived, and lovely txt message before we left, very understanding to our delay in turning up."

  • "Ayr has fabulous restaurants and a beautiful beach."

The accommodation is well place for both. A few minutes walk from the town centre, with easy access to the rail and bus system. There is a free car park at the end of Cromwell Road, a few minutes walk away. It wasn’t a holiday for us, we were travelling back for a family funeral, but the flat meant we could stay with our two grown up children, just a few minutes away from my windowed mother in law. So she had space to grieve but we were close at hand. We will definitely use the property again.
