  • "This beautiful cottage - PICTURES DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE!"

The owners left a mini hamper upon arrival, which was just lovely. AMAZING sea views. Lots of space to park. Cleaned to perfection. Will DEFINITELY be back

  • "Our recent stay at Alisa Shores was wonderful."

We arrived to an immaculately clean cottage with a lovely welcome basket which contained all we needed and more for our arrival. The property is thoughtfully appointed and was very comfortable for us, our two teenagers and Labrador. We enjoyed walks on the easily accessible nearby sandy beach and some enjoyable day trips to the Isle of Arran and Alloway/Ayr. The sunset views from the cottage were amazing. Thank you again to our fabulous host.

  • "Fantastic quiet sandy beach within easy walking distance that we did every evening to watch the sunset."

Glorious. Fantastic, comfy beds with a great setup throughout and extremely well presented. Great host who went above and beyond to help us enjoy every minute of our stay. Lovely thoughtful welcome basket upon arrival, especially the shortbread and wine!

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ailsa Shores, the cottage is amazing, with fantastic views of Ailsa Craig."

We arrived on the first day to a deep cleaned cottage, fresh flowers, a fantastic welcome hamper with the essentials, fresh milk in the fridge and a cold bottle of Prosecco! There were even treats for the dog (who was very grateful!) Comfy beds, fluffy towels and a well equipped kitchen make the stay hassle free. The dishwasher and washing machine are a welcome bonus for families! The only comment I have is the road outside the cottage is noisy and busy, however, I slept with no problem, the kids slept fine and my husband used ear plugs to good effect, so I would not let that put you off at all, the bonus to the busy road is having the beach on the other side of it! Looking forward to returning to make more memories and relaxing.

  • "Very friendly contact with the owner while there."

We had a lovely stay and the booking system was easy to use Only thing I would think helpful as so near the beach is to have an outdoor space open but covered so one can come back and leave wet shoes / clothes outside drying but under cover of the rain - so do not bring in so much dirt on entry Many thanks Sara
