On arrival we were surprised with a lovely welcome pack which was very thoughtful on the owners part. The cottage was clean, cosy and well equipped. It was great to get home after a day out. The owner has made every effort to make the stay pleasurable and in our opinion all boxes have been ticked. We would have no hesitation in recommending Bumblebee Cottage to anyone.

  • "We booked in on a Saturday afternoon and had no heating or hot water until Monday afternoon after contacting owner."

Some areas could do with a little tlc, ie garden, patio, some areas a little grubby. In view of this we ask for a part refund. On the whole we had a good stay.

  • "Lovely quiet, comfortable, spacious cottage in a pretty situation."

The comfy beds and high quality bed linen were much appreciated. Well equipped. Another large pan with lid would have helped with cooking, I had to juggle things in the microwave. Please put together a booklet with information on the cottage, heating, recycling, local amenities etc- there wasn't one. The lack of a recycling bin was peculiar.

Many thanks for your comments - it's always good to get feedback. Warm regards, Karen Property Owner
