On arrival, the cottage was clean and tidy with fresh flowers on display. There is also plenty of space to park multiple cars if needed on the property. The town of Stranraer was perfect for all your shopping needs along with petrol stations if needed. There is a lovely local shop called William Loch that has an amazing selection of local gin and whisky amongst other alcohols at a very reasonable price. Very helpful and friendly staff too. (41-43, George St, Stranraer DG9 7RJ) The drive was very easy and only takes 10 minutes in the car. This is definitely a place/cottage we will be staying at again.
