  • "A very comfortable apartment, has a lovely homely atmosphere and the views are stunning, especially from the garden with a glass of wine!"

!! The owner was a phone call away should she be needed. We have been holidaying in Kippford for 19 years and will definitely be back to Glendower very soon.

  • "Some very thoughtful touches - a fruit cake, milk and bottle of prosecco were left as welcoming gifts."

Clear parking instructions were left by the owner, who also sent helpful and friendly text messages during our stay. The apartment was quiet, comfortable and very clean. The view from the windows was wonderful. We had a great holiday and really enjoyed staying in the apartment.

  • "Unfortunately we found the bed very uncomfortable."

It seemed to slope away from the middle and the matress very hard. Not a good nights sleep. Such a shame as the apartment was lovely, amazing views and loads of storage space. We couldn't find a comments books which was a shame. We had a wonderful holiday and will hopefully be back.

Comfortable, cosy, warm, and supported by wonderful views of the estuary. The flat had everything I needed, and the owners couldn't have been more accommodating. I loved it.

  • "A really lovely little apartment, warm, cosy amazing views over the estuary and in a fabulous location with beautiful walks on the doorstep."

The apartment was ideal, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The owner made us feel very welcome with fresh flowers, milk and a cake left for our arrival (so kind). Didn't want to come home because we felt so at home! Loved the apartment, loved the location. Booking and arrival were seamless. Hopefully we will be back. A big thanks to everyone.

  • "The apartment was tastefully decorated and dressed."

All fittings were modern and clean. The garden was well laid out with seating. View from the living room over the water was lovely. The bedroom had lots of space for clothes and the bed was very comfortable.

  • "The flat is in a stunning location with ever changing views of the tidal estuary from the lounge and bedroom windows."

The furniture is modern and the rooms well decorated. There are fabulous walks from the front door to the beautiful shell beaches. The rear entrance via the garden can be a bit inconvenient on arrival but then adds to the charm and privacy. It is a little gem.

  • "Lovely location disappointed with some of the facilities in the cottage eg."

Bathroom needs updating, very small T.V. in living room, needs a new bed and mattress as very squeaky and uncomfortable. Garden was overgrown, we were nettled and prickled when walking down the grassy path. It was a shame because it could be a lovely asset to the cottage and allow visitors to sit out on the bench and enjoy the view if more care with the garden was done. We would stay in Kippford again but would stay elsewhere.

I am sorry to hear that some of the facilities in the apartment weren't to your satisfaction. I did take guidance from the Agency Representative and did discuss the TV but was assured it was fine, however this is something to think about for the future. Apologies for the overgrown shrubbery in the garden, I do have a gardener and will make sure it is maintained more regularly going forward. Property Owner
