"Perfect choice for my family, spacious for our little ones, we enjoyed cooking in this well equiped kitchen, it just had everylittle thing needed and every big thing as well, loved everything about this lovely house!"
"Our first impressions when we walked through the door were “what a beautiful house”."
Very spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, bedding was fresh and crisp, very well equipped kitchen and the whole property was cosy and warm. The views are amazing and change every day depending on the weather with plenty of walks from the door. The friendly owner sorted out a couple of minor problems we had straight away which was much appreciated. They left a very generous welcome pack for us including; cheese, wine, butter, milk, pickle, Irish bread and fresh flowers. Lots of information for the local area was provided. The property is remote making it quiet and peaceful but you can’t just pop to the shop if you forget something, so you need a good memory (or shopping list!)
"A wonderful property with spectacular views."
The Lodge is very well appointed with lots of lovely, homely touches. The bedrooms and public rooms are very comfortable, and our party loved spending time looking out on the sheep and cows right outside! We walked to the nearby lighthouse which is a gentle, family friendly walk. Lots of great things to see in the area (a visit to Sandhead highly recommended), and Corsewell Castle Farm Lodges are a fantastic base for a stay in the area. Thank you!
"We had an excellent stay in this beautiful house (Lodge 1) with the most spectacular views out to sea."
The property is isolated but this is what gives it the wow factor. Yes you have to travel to visit various places but then you return to the peace and tranquility of the Lodge. The property is well equipped with a nice welcome pack, the homemade soda bread was delicious. We were a group of 4 adults and 3 children. If you want visitor attractions on your doorstep then this is probably not for you but if you want a nice house to stay in set in spectacular scenery with the best sea views then this is the one!
"We loved it all, everything was great!"
Wouldn’t recommend the Lighthouse for drinks or lunch unfortunately. The views were amazing and the house was extremely comfortable. Definitely worth a day trip to Arran on the ferry and castle Kennedy gardens was amazing.
"Fabulous property which was well prepared with lovely welcome pack of cheese butter, milk, cake and tea and coffee."
This is a working farm site so just be a little careful of your speed when entering and leaving the site. One of the bedrooms unusable due to water ingress but we were 3 couples and so plenty of bedrooms which were light , airy and nicely warm. Location superb wit a great view on clear days over to Northern I reland. Absolutely would stay here agaain and recommend to Sykes clients. Didn't want to go home on last day....didn't see owners but we didn't need to as everything was perfect.
"Top marks for this amazing house in a fabulous location."
Just a wee suggestion to have a slip mat and a grab rail for the shower downstairs which would be useful for the elderly who may use the ensuite room downstairs. Everything else perfect and we loved the wee extras such as the food items left. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Many thanks!
"We had a great holiday in this fantastic lodge."
Our kids absolutely loved it (aged 2 and almost 4). The house is very well appointed and the location is beautiful. We’ll definitely try to come back again in the future.
"Beautiful property and peaceful location, with everything provided."
Very well furnished and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
"Corsewall Castle Farm Lodge 1 is spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped."
It had been cleaned to a very high standard and completely sanitised. Iain and Marie were very attentive hosts and kept us informed of events affecting our area. They were very generous and kind! I couldn't recommend this holiday more highly - it was brilliant!
"Excellent location for peaceful breakaway from life activities and stress."
"Hi Ian and Marie, We all had a fantastic stay at Lodge 1 and will hopefully be back."
There was something we weren't sure if you were aware of or not but none of the bathroom locks worked - or at least we couldn't get them to work. With the exception of Dave the Mental Seagull
"The property was excellent on all fronts."
"An absolutely fabulous stay and so sad it wasn't permanent - a slice of heaven for sure!"
! From the stunning views, the thoughtful welcome touches and the wonderful comfort of the Lodge itself, there was something for all four generations who visited ❤
"Lodge 1 simply has everything one needs to have a super comfortable, peaceful and relaxing holiday."
We loved every minute we spent there. Thank you
"Absolutely out of this world!"
We had the best time at Corsewall Castle Lodge. 8 of us stayed here ranging from 4 years old to 74 and it was perfect for all of us. There was everything you could possibly need and so much space. The beds were comfortable and it was cleaned to a very high standard. Beautiful coastal walks and the scenery is amazing. Shops are just a short drive away too. We will definitely be booking this lodge again.
"A beautiful and very comfortable house."
First class beds and bedding. Everything you could possibly need was there and a very generous welcome package.
"What a beautiful holiday home!"
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this special place. The views of countryside and the sea are superb. The kitchen is brilliantly equipped and the beds are super comfortable-as is the whole house! This is easily one of the best Sykes properties we have stayed in. Thank you to Marie for the warm welcome, I would love to return some time.
"The Lodge was beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for!"
The homemade bread and cakes was a lovely touch and Mairi was very accomodating
. everything at the property was clean and fresh and we really enjoyed our stay Thank you Marie and Iain..
"Our lodge on Corsewall Farm was just perfect."
The accommodation is huge and extremely well maintained. We spent hours just taking in the views from the Windows (which are especially moody during a storm!). The recommendations in the handbook were excellent and Marie was a gracious and friendly host. Thanks so much for making our holiday so wonderful - especially during the pandemic!
"Would highly recommend this property photo’s don’t do it justice"
"Thanks to Skyes and the owner Marie for arranging our stay at the last minute."
The house, location and weather was fantasic, we could not fault anything. I had to drag the family away on departure. Hopefully return in the near future.
"One of the most amazing houses we have ever stayed in!"
So many lovely welcome touches left for us including gorgeous homemade bread and our kids loved the rocky road! The house is so spacious, the beds and sofa super comfy and the kitchen well equipt but the best thing has to be the views. They are even better than the pictures show, and every window has something lovely to look at. We loved watching the cows as much as we did the ferries! We really didn't want to go home at the end of the week, and would love to come back again some day.
"Amazing house with superb facilities and fantastic views."
Marie the owner even left homemade bread and cakes which were greatly appreciated by the whole party.
"The views are spectacular and the house had everything we would need and more lovely extras"
"A beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean property with wonderful views out to sea."
Plenty of little bays to explore nearby and just a short walk to the lighthouse. Highly recommend.
"The pictures of this cottage don’t do it justice."
It’s outstanding accommodation. Clean and beautifully furnished. Owners very accommodating with lovely welcome pack. On our last day they text to say not to rush out of the lodge by 10am and to take our time as we had our 93 year old dad with us . Most appreciated. Had a lovely time. Salmon/Woods family
"We all thought Corsewall Farm lodges was Amazing, spotlessly clean and very well equipped."

"Marie gave us a warm welcome and had provided lots of thoughtful touches such as delicious homemade wheaten bread and rocky road, local cheese and Arran toiletries."
The house itself is immaculate and beautifully decorated and furnished. All the rooms are spacious but very cosy. The views across the sea, to the light house and over to Ireland and Kintyre are magnificent. Being surrounded by the grazing animals added to the feeling of being in the heart of the countryside. Everyone we met was very friendly and kind. We stayed relaxing at the house for much of the time because we felt so at home. Other days we played golf and visited the pretty seaside village of Portpatrick. Had a wonderful afternoon on the stunning Lady Bay beach which is close by. Fabulous scenery and wildlife all over the area. Cannot recommend this property highly enough if you want super accommodation in a relaxing and peaceful setting.
Very spacious and immaculate. Very well equipped. Great views. Everything at this lodge is to a very high standard. Owner is lovely and helpful. Little extras left for our arrival were very much appreciated.
"What a fantastic house!"
Every comfort has been provided and the gifts on arrival much appreciated. We couldn't have asked for more. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who is looking to get away from it all but still wants all the comforts of home.
"This is an amazing place to stay."
Beautifully decorated, well appointed with everything you could need. Really comfortable beds. Brilliant showers, big luxurious towels and just perfect all round. Our hostess left us quite a few welcoming gifts which is a really nice, thoughtful touch. Can't recommend a stay at this fabulous accommodation enough. It is well worth the drive to get there. We had a terrific stay. Thanks Marie.
"This holiday home was simply amazing, it had everything that we could have possibly needed and so much more!"
! There was 8 of us who went and there was plenty of space for us all. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to rustle up some amazing dinners! We had lots of fun playing hide & seek with many great spots to hide in, the children loved it and the adults enjoyed it too!
"We had a fantastic few days here."
The property and surroundings were excellent. The cleanliness of the cottage was 10/10. Some lovely little touches left too... Home baked bread and cake and the christmas tree and decorations put a big smile on the kids faces. Beautiful place all round and we will definitely be back
