  • "A truly remarkable cottage which definitely deserves it's 5 star listing."

    The owners Gillian and Nigel were very accommodating even allowing us to store our bikes in their garage. The decor and furnishings are of the highest quality and we found it hard to get out of the bed. Full marks for this cottage. Maureen and Tony Durkin.

  • "Stunning cottage, beautiful decor, large luxurious comfortable rooms with everything provided."

    The owners are very friendly and accomodating. The small beauty salon was a bonus and a lovely treat getting my nails done while on holiday. Train station about 2miles away with parking allowing quick easy trains to Glasgow where you can get trains, subway or buses to attractions. Just the best Sykes cottage we have booked and certainly book again in the future. A credit to the owners. Loved it!

    I cannot recommend highly enough. The interior of the cottage is beautiful and also lovely and spacious and the little private courtyard is perfect to chill in if the weather permits.     A wee slice of heaven just up the road from us, I wish we would have found this hidden gem sooner! The cottage itself is absolutely stunning. Not to mention the farm surrounding is idyllic. The hosts are onsite, so welcoming and helpful. Really nice people. Even brought over a wee card and cake for my partners birthday. Can’t praise Gillian & Nigel enough for their kindness, making our stay all the better.   • "Nice to be contacted and met by the owners on arrival and given a tour."

    A well stocked hamper( not sure about Irn Bru) was a nice touch. The property is very tastefully decorated with comfortable seating in a large lounge. A good sized bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space and a very comfortable bed. The kitchen has all the appliances needed good quality and clean. A good sized bathroom with shower and bath made this an extremely pleasant stay. The location is good,close to the Glasgow Orbital/ M77 /M8. Eaglesham is a 15/20 min. walk -5 min drive information boards lead you round. Highly recommend this property.

    It was well stocked and clean for our arrival, and Nigel was there when we arrived to make sure we were all ok and had everything we needed (and had a good chat about the football!!) Really loved the spacious layout, very relaxing, plenty of parking for cars, easy access and very handy having Gillian & Nigel on site too if you needed anything. Would 100% recommend staying here to friends and family. Thank you both!

  • "The online photographs don’t do full justice to the cottage, which is much more spacious that it appears but still feels cosy and welcoming."

    The hosts Gillian and Nigel give a very warm welcome and we settled in very quickly. Good location, plenty to do and see within a short drive and its a moderate (1 mile) walk to some nice pubs and restaurants.
