Can't fault our stay one bit , host ,we're very helpful and if we needed anything, they were straight onto it , what can I say view's are beautiful, the hot tub was a relaxing place with beautiful views, my 2 dogs enjoyed as much as we did , I will definitely return in the future, thank you for making my stay as comfortable as possible

  • "Cottage is in a lovely location with lovely things to see and do."

Lovley views. Hot tub was a bonus and kept topped up by the owner. We were kept awake by dogs barking most nights which wasn't much fun. Kitchen was not very well equipped some basic items missing such as a measuring jug, grater, bowl- to mix thing in, oven gloves. There were no coat hooks to hang coats up, which would be a real problem when it's wet weather. There was a good washing machine, but no washing basket or airer to dry clothes. Bedroooms were a good size and worked well for the 4 of us. The 4 of us had no WiFi connection the whole time we were there. It would be best to be clear about this rather than say intermittent which it really wasn't.

  • "Excellent accommodation in beautiful location."

The hot tub was a great treat and ideally sited with views over the bay. The cottage was clean and tidy. Our only niggles were neither dishwasher nor vacuum cleaner were working, and basic kitchen cookwear weren't provided

  • "The cottage was lovely, great location, clean with wonderful views."

Sadly the whole week was spoiled by noisy pipes during the night, keeping us all up. The noise frightened my granddaughter so much we had to change the sleeping arrangements as she didn’t want to be by herself. We purchased ear plugs, they didn’t help much and we stopped using the water after 8pm but this had little effect. Sorry but I couldn’t go back here as what should have been a restful holiday was spoiled. We complained to the owner who told us it was the pipes and it would settle down. It didn’t. Through the day it wasn’t too bad as we were out or had tv on. My husband said he thinks it was water hammer With pipes contracting and expanding and it was others using the system too

  • "The main issue was a complete lack of communication."

The advert for the lodge said there was a BBQ which there wasn't. It also said there was WiFi, it even went so far as to say it was intermittent due to the rural area. There was no WiFi of any kind and when I tried to call the 2 mobiles constantly go to voicemail I even sent a text asking with no response. We also paid for a cottage with a hot tub for 3 nights. We were told on arrival that the hot tub would be up to temperature in a couple of hours. This was not the case. When I called about it with no answer and had to leave yet another voicemail a man arrive to check it and said it would not be ready until the next morning as it had been totally emptied to clean. This I feel is not right, great that it was cleaned but they should not be charging for the full use of the hot tub if you can't on your day of arrival. There is also a cleanliness issue, the woman who greeted us said she could not come in due to covid restrictions. This wouldn't have made a difference as there was still food and drink residue on the dining table. Clearly not been cleaned. As part of your departure they ask you to clean before you leave. I feel given there prices this should not be the case either as you don't have this anywhere else. Especially when they don't even clean it properly. They don't even clean away the masses of spiders webs that are in every room. This is also a working farm so expect to be woken before 7am with varies vehicle movements and dogs barking.

Hot tub was wonderful even if we were in a heatwave. Everything was in the cottage, good communication from owners.
