  • "We had a fabulous stay at Torview House - perfect for a family get together."

A huge 'thank-you' to Arran for looking after us so well. The welcome pack was much appreciated and our dog loved a good run in the paddock. Happy to highly recommend Torview House.

  • "This is a beautiful cottage loads of space and done to a high standard."

Enclosed large paddock for dogs. Beautiful countryside short drive to Peebles. Owners are lovely couldn’t be more helpful. They live adjoined to the other part of the cottage not a problem for us but maybe if wanted loud music playing. We will definitely be back. Cottage has everything u need but may need to take speaker for music. It’s sat right next to the river and the owners have made it a beautiful place to sit. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay can’t recommend enough

  • "Lovely accommodation for our family of 12."

Good location. Extensively equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. What more could you ask for?

  • "This was a brilliant house, suitable for families or 6 couples as 4 en suite bedrooms, 2 more bedrooms a full bathroom and shower room + a separate WC."

Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. Only problem is that almost all of the cupboards are full of crockery and equipment with little room left to store your food. Otherwise it was great and the owners on site were helpful and friendly but easy to forget they are there as they did not interfere but there if needed. They even opened a completely enclosed paddock for us to let the dog have a run around. The weather could have been better but we can’t complain about anything else.

  • "Just returned from a week at Torview House with my family (10 of us)."

Torview House is beautiful. In a stunning setting only a few miles outside of Peebles. The house is clean, very comfortable and so so quiet. Gardens are huge - ideal for my four year old grandson to run around in and play games! The owners have provided everything you need for a self catering stay in the property. We will definitely be returning!

  • "Just returned from a fantastic holiday in Torview House, Peebles."

The house stands in beautiful gardens, providing ample place for relaxing and contains everything you need - the welcome pack on arrival was brilliant. It is laid out with the bedrooms set slightly apart from the living areas and all to a very high standard. The extensive size of the house allowed us to meet up with all the family in exceptional circumstances. Peebles and surrounding area has plenty to do and see - we had wonderful days out at Dawyck Garden centre and Kailzie Gardens. You can reach the house by car, bus and train. We had a wonderful time and left with such happy memories.

  • "The layout of Torview was excellent."

The bedrooms were away from the living area so there was no disturbance in the evening. The grounds of the property were well kept and the secret river dell was great. Only 7 minutes by car to Peebles. Bats! The children enjoyed seeing bats from their bedroom window every night at dusk. The owners were excellent hosts. We will visit again.

  • "Stunning property and excellent host."

We had a fantastic three days staying at the property and exploring the area. Many things to see and do in the area. We came to do the mountain bike trials and were not disappointed. After travelling from Manchester to Fort William and then to Skye we stayed here for three days on our way home. The host kept in touch with us prior to arrival via email and greeted us on arrival. They went out of their way to arrange for us to have jet wash available to clean our bikes when we returned from a days riding. The property is stunning in a beautiful area. We will definitely be returning. Thank you very much we really enjoyed our stay.
