  • "The owners are very welcoming and helpful, and the cottage has everything that you could need."

There are several little shops in the village which is very useful. It is a lovely village to explore and has historical things of interest. We have a disabled friend and discovered that (because of its age) the cottage is not wheelchair accessable. However the local pub is accessable and made a good meeting place for our friend.

  • "The cottage was beautiful and sited in a lovely part of the village."

We used the garden a lot and the BBQ provided was fantastic. Inside the cottage was well equipped had everything we needed. The kitchen particularly had lots of items to enable family meals to be prepared. We enjoyed Ashwell Springs over the road from the cottage and the local cricket club/playpark 5 mins walk away. We would recommend this cottage to families. The owners had very good correspondence and were reassuring during this time of Covid. We enjoyed a very relaxing stay and would definitely return to this property.

All information necessary was available. Only thing we missed was a visitors book so we could leave recommendations to other visitors to the area.
