  • "I had a first-class experience staying at the Studio."

The cottage had everything you could want to be comfortable. The place was spotless, tastefully arranged and with lots of courtesy extras that I wasn't expecting and really appreciated. Everything was perfect, I really felt like home. Especially since Maureen went out of her way to cater to my needs (and I had lots of needs) with a lot of patience and care and for that I'm really grateful. I can't wait to come back soon!

  • "The accommodation was to a very high standard."

However the most important thing to us was how kind and caring the owners were. Always approachable and went out of their way to make us welcome. The personal touch is really important to us. In a day and age when so much is done remotely it is refreshing to feel valued and to know that there is help to hand when required. If Sykes Cottages were able to encourage this approach then that would set them apart in the self catering sector.

  • "Owners went out of their way by providing welcome basket of lovely quality products and a pint of milk."

We really appreciated the coffee maker and pods. A really nice touch. The TV reception was intermittent.
