  • "The property exceeded all our expectations and we had the best hosts who were on hand to help us with anything."

The facilities are incredible and the house is very spacious, comfortable and grand. It has absolutely everything you could want in accommodation with lots of communal space as well as your own private bedrooms so you never feel on top of one another. It is also set in the loveliest village with amazing local pubs. I cannot recommend The Cedar House enough! Our stay with friends was so enjoyable and the house made it extra special. We would definitely go back!

  • "This is a wonderful cottage with all the facilities that you require for a large family get to gather and ample of place for all to sit and enjoy."

In spite of rain all the time whilst there ,we managed to use the hot tub once. The place would have been really good for children to play if the weather was slightly favourable to us,as they could not take the advantage of the lovely play Ground outside.

  • "We had a great stay at the house."

The house is spacious enough to fit 20 of us from 6 families adults and kids. It is well equipped and we found everything we need for our weekend there. Last but not least, the space is clean and homely. Would love to go back! Highly recommended.

  • "Loved the house - absolutely huge, more than enough room - bit of a rabbit warren to find our way round!"

Kitchen was well kitted out in terms of utensils etc; board games cupboard was a nice touch; the highlight of the house was obviously the jacuzzi!! The location was also great for a few gentle walks to the pub. We had a fantastic stay. Also thanks to Colin, the very helpful host, who was very communicative before we got the house, and helpful with the couple of small niggles we had - the early drop-off of a working iron was very appreciated for the three men going straight to work on Monday morning!

  • "We had a wonderful weekend, Cedar House was the perfect place for our Family get together."

Plenty of room for us all; loads of bedrooms, with comfortable beds, wonderful showers and cozy well equipped sitting rooms, with everything the family could ask for - giant TV, Sports, Netflix, x box and a selection of board games, books and dvd around the house. The hot tub and surrounding grounds was a bonus. The kitchen was large and generally well equipped, although it took us a while to work out which pans worked on the induction hob! There were so many things in the kitchen, we sometimes had to have a good dig about to find what was needed.

Great property for large family group reunion / nice garden for kids and dogs / close to ferry meadows for dog walking and kids play areas / kitchen a little small for amount of people but offset by large pantry and laundry room / owner very friendly and helpful / decent pub nearby

  • "The house has its original features and yet has all mod cons."

We were a family group, ranging in age from 12months to 70. There was WIFI, two wide screen TVs with X boxes(very popular!) and a well stocked games cupboard and young children's play room.So something for everyone! The kitchen has all modern appliances and made self catering an easy option. The house is set back from the road and next to the church. We walked to the river Nene one day and round the village on another. We went to an impressive fireworks display locally and had Sunday lunch in the friendly local pub. A great house which was perfect for the sixteen of us.

  • "The property is wonderfully spacious and had everything we needed in the kitchen to cater for our large party."

The X boxes kept the children entertained and we hardly knew they were there. They had a great time exploring the house. We thought the garden would have more useable space for the children, but it was adequate. The ensuite shower could do with a better drain.
