“On arrival 2 hours after suggested check in time the Chapel wasn’t ready and the cleaner wasn’t expecting us.”

Cleaner then applied strong bleach to all floors which wasn’t great for the dog or probably for the solid oak floor. Surface dust, cobwebs and dog hair were all very apparent, even on mattress. Cleaner then applied strong bleach to all floors which wasn’t great for the dog or probably for the solid oak floor. Surface dust, cobwebs and dog hair were all very apparent, even on mattress. We were unable to open any of the windows in the Chapel as they seemed screwed closed. We were also unable to close the blinds due to their height. Bedroom felt quite claustrophobic along with ill fitting bedding. There was only a wardrobe to put clothes in and no set of drawers. Kitchen however was well equipped but the oven was hit and miss due to the missing temperature numbers on the dials. The garden has pebbles down which again wasn’t good for the dogs feet, could we suggest some Astro turf. The pub in the village isn’t dog friendly so a drive to the Angel if you are a dog owner. The butchers just out from the village was fab, amazing meat and very reasonably priced along with very friendly staff. If you then stop at the farm shop across from the butchers they have a great selection of fresh produce to compliment your meal!
