  • "Property owners made us feel very welcome and it was a lovely surprise when we found they had left a lovely welcoming food pack for our use."

We would definitely rebook if we went on holiday in this area again and probably will.

Thank you Les, it was a pleasure to meet you and your family and thank you for leaving the cottage so clean and tidy. Property Owner

The owners are excellent hosts and left fresh milk, butter, bread and all sorts of delicious treats for us on arrival. Thank you for a lovely stay.

  • "We arrived at the cottage to find it wonderfully charming and fantastically well equipped."

We didn’t need a lot of the stuff we bought with us. Our three small girls loved seeing the cows (and the cats and the adorable dog) and Amanda was really helpful answering our questions. The bedrooms were so comfortable, mattresses and linens all great quality; a proper hotel experience. We ate out at a couple of local pubs, of which, we found details of inside the cottage. A fab trip, we intend to return and have already recommended to our friends and family!

Dear Kelly and family, it was a pleasure to meet you all and you left our cottage so clean and tidy, it really helped with the turnaround. We would welcome you back anytime. Property Owner

Loads of space for what we wanted. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we could possibly need. We’ve had a wonderful week!

Well equipped kitchen. Host had put those essentials that are really needed on arrival, Milk, Bread, Butter, Jam and Marmalade. Tea, coffee and sugar. Spacious living area, lots of videos and books. Wi-fi connection superfast. Most important of all, mattresses very comfortable. Peaceful break on a working farm. Thanks to Mrs and Mr Brodie and Minnie, and the many cats. Really lovely setting.

  • "I can not fault this accommodation."

The cottage is lovely, welcoming and has everything you could ever need or want. It was immaculately clean. The owners are both helpful and friendly. We visited Grafham water, which is only 15 mins drive away and well worth a visit. We would certainly return to Redwood Cottage.

This expectation was super exceeded. Coupled with this was the warm welcome we were met with, nothing was too much trouble for the owners and they were always on hand to help with anything. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The farm environment was blissful escape from the city hustle and bustle. There are plenty of attractions and activities for the whole family nearby although most of them were still closed because of Covid19. We would unreservedly recommend Redwood Cottage to anyone, anytime. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

  • "Loved relaxing at the cottage."

A warm welcome was received on arrival and there were 'little extra's' in the cottage we hadnt anticipated, making it feel 'home from home'. The cows in the adjacent field were fascinating to watch and the sun room at the rear of the property was ideal for family games, relaxing and reading. The weather was not great for us but we did have a couple of nice days in which we did punting in Cambridge (a must to see Cambridge at its best) and a walk around Houghton Mill (Actual mill closed due to COVID restrictions) but the surronding countryside is beautifual - we crossed a lock and saw it in operation. Also visited Hamilton Zoo, Stanwick Lakes and Grafton Water. Would definitely recommend the property and we hope to return soon

Views were lovely and considering it was a working farm (beef cattle) very quiet. Millie the dog was very friendly but the farm cats tried to avoid us until a little bit of ham teased them back. Both hosts lived on the farm and were very welcoming leaving some yummy gifts Overall a gentle, quiet relaxing holiday with friendly and welcoming hosts. And the local pub The White Horse at Tillbrook menu was scrumptious and catered for all types of eaters, just watch out as the web site can take you to the old one which is not a patch on the new. www.thewhitehorsetilbrook.com
