“The only concern we had with this ...”

The only concern we had with this cottage was the distance from Cambridge, but it was worth the drive. 17 miles/25 min as the property is so lovely, comfortable and set in countryside with a view for miles. The owners cater for everything. Toys for the children, extras in the kitchen ie kitchen roll, bin bags etc. Beautifully decorated and very very comfortable and homely. Spotlessly clean. Had a wonderful long weekend over Easter with the family with sight seeing in both Ely and Cambridge and then back to relax in peace and quiet. Fantastic pub just down the road called 5 miles to Nowhere!!! on the banks of the river with delicious food. Local village a 10 min drive away had a takeaway perfect for after a long weekend and everyone wanted to just down tools and socialise without the effort. Although the kitchen was well equipped so we could have cooked. Cottage easily slept 6 adults and space for a cot. Met the owner and invited for easter egg hunt with the grandchildren and owner herself was very approachable and lovely Would highly recommend and would definetly return.
