  • "Striking looking property but some of the internal features a bit quirky."

Great location for many local attractions. In common with many holiday properties we have stayed in the kitchen could do with a towel rail!

  • "We enjoyed our stay."

It was an easy trip into Ely, with many things to do there. There is a very useful map of Ely, with car parks, on the local authority website. And the Fens were on our door step. From the living room window you can see, across the many flat fields, Ely Cathedral. Everything worked as expected and the problem with the 'hard to read' WiFi password was fixed within a couple of hours, thanks to the housekeeper. A stepping stool would be a useful addition to the kitchen as the wall cupboards are quite high.

  • "A most unusual house but extremely comfortable and well appointed."

Great location. Ideal for the fens, Ely and Cambridge. Would book again.

  • "A classic architectural building that seems to be taking advantage of its status."

It is in need of repair work and TLC. Cleaning the windows would be a start, one of its main selling points is the glass wall frontage. The sliding doors need oiling, as do all the locks. Not up to your normal standard. Chris

  • "The cottage was nice and mainly clean and well equipped."

Minor problem that the oven didn’t work although the hob did. Overall it was a little bit tired.
