The property

This delightful detached lodge is set within 150 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds of the Tydd St Giles Golf and Country Club, on the edge of the village of Tydd St Giles.

Nestled on the Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire borders, and just a short drive to the Norfolk Coast, this is an ideal base for families and friends to explore this lovely part of the country.

Set over one floor, this cosy lodge has open plan living with a kitchen, sitting and dining areas, and excellent views over the golf course.

From here, you can head through French doors to the private decked area, which is ideal for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening meal while watching the wildlife.

The master bedroom has the benefit of an en-suite shower room, and there is also a comfortable twin bedroom and family bathroom.

There is plenty to do on your doorstep with many on-site facilities available at a small extra charge.

Enjoy the superb 18-hole, par 70, golf course which the property overlooks, or spend a day at the fishing lake which is open all year round.

The site also boasts an indoor swimming pool, a gym and a wonderful club house with a bar and restaurant.

Within a half hour drive is the popular North Norfolk coastline with excellent beaches, nature reserves and magnificent stately homes, including the Royal Estate at Sandringham.

Wisbech 7 miles.

Founded in 1084 the village of Tydd St Giles is 7 miles north of Wisbech and is Cambridgeshire’s most northerly parish. The Fens cover nearly one million acres, they are a man-made landscape which stretch from Cambridge to Lincoln, King’s Lynn to Peterborough. The area is home of a number of spires, windpumps and chimneys, sluices and waterways, bridges and banks. Tydd St Giles is mainly known for it's wonderful Golf and Country club with exceptional facilities including the 18-hole golf course, fishing lake, leisure facilities and restaurant on site. The West and North Norfolk coastline are within easy travelling distance, where you will find many villages and towns, including Hunstanton, and several RSPB sites. Inland is Sandringham Estate, where house tours and attractive gardens can be enjoyed, whilst travelling in the opposite direction will bring you to Wisbech, Ely, Peterborough and Cambridge.
