There is a need for careful parking outside the property in order not to upset the other friendly residents, however, there is ample alternative parking very nearby on the shop forecourt or across in the pub car park. We found the cottage comfortable and clean and would have rated top marks had it not been for the back garden which needs attention. In the garden there is, or could be, a lovely searing area, but uninvitng because of overgrown bushes, but because of the lay out - north facing - is maybe in shade most of the time anyway. For cosmetic reasons the front of the property could be tidied too. The river Great Ouse runs very close by and the walks along the flat river bank are not spoiled by too many dog walkers, however it is noticeable that people do keep their dogs on lead and do 'pick up' after them. Another minor point would be that the housekeeper needs to pay more careful attention to preparation, for example - iron the bedding, clear away old food out of the fridge that other holidaymakers have left, and although there is a busy convenience store less than 10 yards away, it would have been nice to have milk left for arrival. (The shop is busy but it does not disturb the cottage), In all, a comfortable break.

This wonderful, mid-terrace cottage is located in the heart of the village of Wiggenhall St Germans, very close to a shop and pub, three miles from King’s Lynn.

The cottage offers excellent walking from your doorstep, with the property sat on the edge of the Fen Rivers Way, which runs between Cambridge and King's Lynn, following the River Cam and the River Ouse.
