“We were met by the owners who were very helpful and friendly.”

The cottage met our expectations and was extremely warm and cosy. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property

Situated near the riverbank, in the beautiful unspoilt countryside of Norfolk, a few miles from the coastline and on the outskirts of the medieval town of King's Lynn, is this wonderful cottage.

Perfect for you and your four-legged friends to enjoy a long walk beside the river, with stunning views across the bridge and surrounding countryside.

Walk through to the sitting room where you can spend your evenings relaxing on the plush furniture and catch up with your favourite shows or enjoy a family movie night.

Entering the property, you will be greeted to a delightful open-plan kitchen/diner, fitted to a high-standard and housing all the necessary appliances for you to rustle up a delicious home-cooked meal for the whole family, whilst the dining area provides the perfect spot for family gatherings, whilst a utility and shower room completes the ground floor.

Follow the staircase up to the first floor, boasting two well-presented bedrooms, a double and twin, supported by a family bathroom.

The master bedroom is a wonderful space with plenty of quality wooden furnishings to store your personal items, with a built-in wardrobe and a delightful Juliet balcony boasting views across the garden and shrubbery, also giving a lovely amount of natural light and air to the room.

Use the rear garden area to sit out with a refreshing beverage of a morning and read a good book, whilst watching the sunset.

While you're in the area, take a drive towards The Walks, a historic 18th century park with paved trails for walking and cycling opportunities, as well as playgrounds for your little ones to enjoy.

Castle Rising is also within reach and boasts the ruins of a former medieval fortress, set in 20 acres of earthworks.

Visit True's Yard Fisherfolk Museum, detailing the social history of the fishing quarter.

You are close to the wonderful coastline, with plenty of chances to get involved with fishing and sailing, not to mention the nearby sandy beaches where you can spend the afternoon relaxing against the golden sands, or swimming in the clear waters.

Return to Honeysuckle Cottage for a relaxing evening with your loved ones.
