  • "Site is great ,unfortunately the lodges are musty and moldy on furnishings and in need of makeover, our lodge was attached to toilet block for 2 caravans and a tent site and being woken at 530/6am every morning is not great and there is no sound proofing in the walls."

Even with covid restrictions we never even spoke to the owners or site agent, noone asked if we were OK. Adequate for a week away but needed cleaning thoroughly, We have been here before 5 years ago same lodge and it has deteriorated unfortunately, the grounds also need sorting behind the lodges so you can walk down to the lake better. Great area to get to everywhere from and brilliant fishing in the lake.

  • "Nowhere in the cottage to store food in the kitchen area - pity because kitchen equipment was good."

A huge mistake - all accessories throughout the cottage were a dreadful orange making it look like a cheap American motel room! The games room was a let down and the grounds not at all inviting. A shame because the owners were very nice people and very helpful.
