"The cottage was only a short walk from the lovely beach."
(Admittedly down/up a very steep hill). The kitchen was the best equipped I have ever had on a holiday rental including weighing scales and a baking tin - useful when one of your party turned 21 during the week.
Downstairs cleanliness was great but felt two of the bedrooms had been given a quick spritz rather than clean.

"Morva is situated in a beautiful well established site with colourful plants a in peaceful woodlands."
The leisure centre is clean and well run with a lovely pool and jacuzzi, table tennis, snooker table and seating area whilst outside the tennis courts, play area and seating area are well maintained.
Morva is a gem of a house, well furnished to a high standard, comfortable and welcoming with thoughtful touches. The welcome pack was great. The beach is 5 minutes walk but the hill is steep. I would thoroughly recommend Morva for a relaxing holiday.

The cottage was beautifully decorated, comfortable and peaceful. Outside the cottage were fantastic facilities for the kids and loads to do in the area. Wish we could have stayed longer!

"We were not aware of so many steps to get in and the big hills around as my husband uses a mobility scooter but the grounds around the place were a delight and we made the most of things."
I had requested a walk in shower and said we had a scooter so I think we should have been made aware of surrounding area but thanks for a lovely house.
Thank you for your feedback and we are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay at Morva and the surrounding area. We do our best to describe the area and access to the property on each listing. "Great holiday cottage."
I think the pictures didn’t fully do it justice and it was better than I had imagined. The estate was well maintained and the pool fasciitis were brilliant.
The bay of Maenporth was fantastic with great scrambling along the rocks. I would definitely go back.

"Morva is fantastic."
We arrived to find everything we needed and more. The house was immaculate, with tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk, biscuits and wine ready for us to settle down immediately - so unexpected and a wonderful surprise. The rooms are all light and airy, and beautifully furnished. The on-site facilities are great too. My young adults used the pool and table tennis. Maenporth beach is a short walk down a steep hill, but with our chairs and windbreak, etc we drove down and parked in the car park for £4 a day. We were also delighted to find that we could hire paddle boards and kayaks at this beach too. There are lots a great places to eat, we enjoyed The Cove (go in the glass room for beautiful views of the sea especially in the evening), and The Ferry Boat Inn - advanced booking required for both. We would definitely stay at Morva again - highly recommended.

"The cottage is gorgeous."
Tucked in a very private nook on the estate. We had bird's visiting us everyday and decided to treat them to lovely berries to munch on. A particulate favourite was the bull finch who enjoys sitting on the French door handles to look at itself in the reflection. The facilities in the cottage are superb. We felt so much like at home the entire stay. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to queries which we had. The welcome bottle of wine, biscuits, coffee, tea and milk was unexpected and greatly appreciated after travelling down. A great location for exploring Cornwall.

"The house was beautifully equipped and was very welcoming."
Exceptionally clean and well maintained. The only downside was a single oven. Not having even a top oven meant cooking for a family of 6 (the accommodation size) is tricky, especially when food cooks at different temperatures. The double bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable, but incredibly creaky, you couldn’t get out of bed without waking the other person! Other than that, great place to stay.
